UPDATE**. BUY THIS HAT AT THE SIZE YOU MEASURE. You can always use fillers/sizing assistance to make the hat fit a little tighter. I’m ordering one at the size 7 1/8, as I should have. Measure it a couple times to make sure that YOU get the size right. I LOVE THIS HAT AND AM ORDERING IT AGAIN!!!! I just hope it’s as nice as the first one. 🥰I measured my head several times, and was size 7 &1/8. Other reviews said the hat was sized so that I should get a size smaller. I ordered a size 7. It came and it was very tight feeling. With previous hats, though, the brim would expand on my head after I wore it for a while. So I’ve been wearing it every day, everywhere for about three weeks. Sure enough, my hat is now comfortable and fits well.Meanwhile, since I wore it everywhere, I received lots of compliments; at least one from a person at each location that I wore it to. Someone even saw me in the car in a parking lot and yelled, ‘Hey, I like your hat!’Since I got skin cancer on my nose, I initially purchased the hat to keep the sun off of my nose. It works great, and even my doctor complimented me on how great it looks, and how effective it is at keeping the sun off of my face. The brim is perfect for that!I was also a little concerned that the material would be frayed or would fray easily. I’m allergic to wool and most hats are made from wool, but this palm hat is sturdy and made well. So far, no problem at all! And yes, I have bumped my hat when I get into the car (I lowered the seat after that!), but still no fraying or any other damage to the hat at all.

Love this hat. It was flimsy and attracted stains like crazy but I sprayed it with a couple coats of spray lacqeur and it's now rigid and highly stain-resistant. Very cool hat. 🤠

Nice hat, the price points are nice as well, quality materials, but this palm leaf hat will leave your head sweating in the hot ass Texas heat, fo sure.Good hat for the $$$ and highly recommend

Clearly used or previously returned. Unbranded poorly packaged in a box that caused the hat to loose shape. No packing material. Was dirty and there was some indication that it was at least tried on. Might try to steam it back in shape or I will just return it. Disappointing as I was looking forward to wearing it this week.
