AirPlus (Official Apple Certified) MFI Indestructible 8 Pin Lightning to USB 2.4A Fast Charging and High Speed Data Sync Cable Cord (1m / 3.2ft), Silver

This is an honest review on the AirPlus iPhone lightning cable that's advertised here. CHARGING: In the last two days, I have used this cable to charge my iPhone 5 thrice already from both, a Capdase 1A USB power adapter, and my Desktop PC's USB port. It worked very well right from the first time charging. Quick, efficient, no heating issues are the words! CONNECTORS: Both sides of the connectors grip on to the respective devices securely, and there's no being skeptical in that area. The lightning connector's end works flawlessly on either sides for both - charge and sync (reversible design); unlike several unbranded iPhone lighting cables that are a pain in the wrong areas. DATA TRANSFER: So far, the cable has worked amazingly well with data transfer and sync between my iPhone 5 to my desktop computer through a USB 2.0 port on the front. No nagging "Accessory not compatible" errors so far (Apple MFI Compatible it seems)! Also, I did not see any difference in the transfer speeds between the original Apple lighting cable and the AirPlus lightning cable. CABLE LENGTH: That inadequate feeling I used to get while I used the original Apple iPhone lighting cable is no more! This lengthy "1 m / 3.2 ft" cable helps you operate your phone with ease (even take calls), while still being connected to my desktop Computer right from my chair. I especially love the fact that I no longer need to stick too close to my power outlet in order to operate my phone while it is charging through the power adapter! BUILD QUALITY: Coated with a plastic polymer, the outer layer of the cable acts like a flexible coolant hose whose shape can be changed at will without actually damaging it (indestructible PVC jacket strain relief). The cable's quite thicker than the original Apple lightning cable in diameter. The connectors and their metallic parts do not look cheap, and their quality is arguably better than that of most mobile data / power cables available in the market. In my opinion, the cable, if it doesn't stop working abruptly anytime soon, will last way longer - much longer than the original iPhone lightning cable. LOOKS: Premium, silvery, decent, professional, crafty, and finished. PRICE: Hard to say without using it for several months, but from what I have analyzed so far, it is quite reasonable. I would choose this lightning cable @ 800/- INR over Apple's over-priced junk @ 1,600/- INR any given day. After all, who doesn't like a cheaper alternative that is in every way better than its original counterpart?! Apple, may be it is high time you learnt your lesson. WARRANTY: This is the interesting part. It has a 6 month warranty period for manufacturing defects, but I doubt the availability of AirPlus service centers in Bangalore. I am trying this cable anyway, as I like it. There is however an AirPlus Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. service center in Mumbai (as per results from my Google search), but I'm not sure if that's related. I will keep a mental note on updating this review in a few months from now on the cable's overall performance. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE (01/March/2016): ---------------------------------------- Still going strong, as good as new! I Ordered this Charging cable for my husband who already ordered couple of low cost and quality cable earlier and they stop working in some days .. but this cable is working fine and smoothly since day 1 and expecting that this will keep working for days to come as well .. Editing review on 16th OCT. Cable was working fine for 4-5 months but again it start giving issue on connectivity and stop charging . I checked with my friend iphone as well but there also its not working .. now contacting sellers/manufacturer for replacement ..

Hello, I'm so sorry to say that this item is not up to the mark .....The company describes this as lightning connector ,but when I tried to copy 3GB songs to my iPhone,this cable took 3 hours to finish that process ....I'm really disappointed with this product .The only positive thing that i can say about this item is its build quality ....

Well this is going to be my first non apple product , so initially I was a bit skeptical in buying this cable. However my choices were pretty much limited either to try my luck with this cable or go for an expensive cable from apple store which would have burnt a hole in my pocket. So now that I have received this cable I am all praises for it. The build quality of this cable is sturdy and seems more durable than the OEM cable provided by apple. The phone gets charged quickly and no pesky messages that "THIS ACCESSORY IS NOT CERTIFIED" . Its just been a day I have been using this cable however and looks like its going to be an old companion for me. I got this for 799 INR and the price of this cable is half of what apple charges for its cables. So far so good and love the white and green color combination as opposed to apple's boring white colored cable.

It's just okay. The lightning pin doesn't fit the slot snugly so you have to ensure it's charging when you plug it in and leave it that way. The quality and material of the wire is good and the wire is longer than the in box one that came with a 5S. Updating my review so no one else makes the mistake I made. This stopped working after 12-15 days. I can't return this because it's more than 10 days. Please don't waste your money in these. Instead buy an original from a store nearby

I loved AirPlus iPhone covers, they are sturdy and keep phone very safe, hence I decided to order this AirPlus cable. It's a great product, I do not even get "Accessory not supported" message. I use it all the time in my car to charge iPhone 5. Must have been over few months, it's still working perfectly fine.

I've had it for around 5 months and use it with my iphone 5 and ipad mini 2. I have already gone through 1 original Apple cable and paid 1500 for the replacement original cable. I have kept it as a spare and use this as the main cable. I haven't faced any issues, charges all my idevices flawlessly. On one occasion when the device was fully discharged, it didn't charge and I had to "kick start" it with the original cable. I haven't been able to reproduce that again though. It feels a lot more robust than the apple product and I don't have any qualms about carrying it with me everywhere.

The strength is good. Quality is good. But. It worked for 16days after that I saw a msg on my mobile saying " charger cable not supported by iPhone ". Finally I purchased another cable from Amazon.com for 5$ it works fine. Which is Cheeper and useful
