LED Work light Portable Rechargeable - 10w Watt Compact Camping Light - 850 lumen - Plug & Removable Battery

We been trying out a good few led flood light options in the past months as we needed something practical for work.Ordered this only because of the low price & had it shipped over with other items we needed here.First impression compared to the others.The box looks goood ..haha ... Proper language used, nice layout...hmm...not some el cheapo piece of kit here.On opening, even more impressed.The unit is all plastic but with the shape & weight of it all feels really solid & nice to handle.There is a 3 way switch at the back, so that's OFF, LOW POWER, HIGH POWER.Very very nice compared to some lights which make you cycle through the whole series of options...all in one button.Switched the unit ON & ..... nothing?? DOH...turns out the battery pack is a separate unit...cool, that's mighty nice feature to have...so one can always keep spare packs (even DIY ones) & use the light for hours on end. Really like the feature.With the pack removed, there is a dc socket so can be plugged directly without the battery pack if need be.Now for the light itself, well i expected a bit more form 850lumens. I have a tiny 10w floodlight here which can blow this to bits. About 3 times the light power compared to this. So well, that's something thats got me trying to figure out what to use this for.When i first popped in the battery pack & saw that the light was lower than i expected, i put in on for a full charge. It took almost 3-4 hours so it could be the battery was quite down on arrival. Either way my opinion of the light output is based on my impression with the fully charged pack of course.I haven't had it on for more than 5 minutes in total till now. Only used it twice to get some turf from the shed. So haven't any need to recharge it again & don't know how long it should take.Can be handy as a torch/flashlight replacement. So kept in the sheds, or the car or out camping..situations which do not require bright light.Right, i don't want to slag this unit in any way as like i said before, the design sense is impressive & its a pleasure to hold in the hand. In spite of being plastic...its well made.Just got it yesterday so don't know how it will fare in the long run but i have a feeling it will be fine.Can recommend this unit for someone that needs not too bright a light.Cheers

I am sorting a donation in a shipping container at present. This light is definitely good enough for one person to work with and has lasted several hours from one charge so far. You would probably need more than one for several people to have a well pit work space. For me it does the job.

Well pleased with these 3 items, all of them work fine, upon arrival they were working great and continue to do so.

Light weight and small, but gives a strong light. Easy to angle up and down. I would prefer the light to be diffused instead of a bright band.. it creates a beam more than a wash of light and is harsh on the eye if it is in vision.

Great little light, small and powerful.

No fuss, simple product that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

We needed this for working on our boat - its small size for the brightness and rechargeability are ideal for this - many work lights being extremely clunky.

Great little product. So much so that we bought another. Bit fiddly having to disconnect battery pack but still good.
