Fitted into an NVR and is running well after a couple of weeks use
I popped this into a Hilook (HIkvision) NVR after the previous drive failed after a couple of years, and has so far performed as expected. All recordings captured, and NVR disk testing shows a 'pass' every time.

2.5" Drives I use mainly for my laptop
The drives work very well in my laptop and I 'clone' them frequently since I use it to get and as well as keep a spread sheet of my expenditure for tax/passwords etc. in case of a failure.They used intensively which means that I have to replace them periodicaly as the drives eventually fail under stress or purhaps heat.

Dont listen to currys
Bought this for freesat box was told in currys that it wouldnt work as it would need formating .Just followed simple instrutions on youtube turned it on worked straight away am very happy 11 pounds instead of 220 pounds

Seagate 500GB 2.5" HDD.
So I bought a couple of these drives for photo storage backup's. They arrived the next day and all seemed good, I formatted them for use on my Windows 11 laptop and again all seemed good. After a couple of days taking pictures I wanted to back the memory card up there was about 35GB of files so I transferred them over to one of them and all seemed good. The following day when I went to load the images up to do some post production the drive just screeched in the housing, it didn't show any errors just wouldn't work. Luckily I hadn't formatted the cameras memory card so grabbed the second drive and plugged that in and almost right away that one started to screech too. I know they where only cheap but I'd have expected them to last longer than a few days. I tried several times to use & reformat the HDD but to no avail. I arranged to return them and was issued my refund as soon as I'd taken them to the post office. I've since bought several SSD's for my backups and will keep doing so from now. I glad they failed right away and not 6 months down the line losing 1TB of images.

Perfect replacement for my 3 Dtr 2100 bt/humax boxes.
Bought 3 of these to replace drives in humax bt dtr 2100 which were fitted with same drives from factory. Only had one problem with one which was DOA. Replacement was fine. Went through Maintaining mode to get box to recognise new drive and each one is now working like new.

Put in to case that I got to transfer files and use as backup works just fine
