Amba Radiant Straight Hardwired Plug-in Towel Warmer RWH-SP, Polished

This is a really good towel warmer. It's super warm, sturdy, and looks great. We bought our previously used, but it was in new shape (the box was opened and some of the electrical wires were previously twisted). This is the hardwired version, so you need to know (or learn) a few things about electricity to install this. Buy a Non-Contact Voltage Tester. The tester will tell you when a wire is hot. We had already gutted the bathroom, so running new wire through the walls was not an issue. If you are a beginner/moderate DIYer, you might consider connecting this to a GFCI outlet. The new outlets make it really easy to add additional circuits without even bending wires.

Dries/warms damp towels after showering; very nice/quality product w/very hot pipes; luckily we do not have young children. Very pleased with performance; has cut down on amount of towels we need to wash; would definitely recommend this item

Arrived in good condition and electrician installed it. So far it is working well (1week) . I must say that I expected my towel to be a little more toasty but it will do. The bars get pretty darned hot and stings if you manage to brush against them. My bathroom is very small ( 10 X 5 ft) and if I leave it on for an hr or so you can feel the warmth in the room. I have used the Brookstone towel warmer and the towel gets much warmer but the drawback is it turns off in a relatively short time and the towel will lose the heat. So far I am pleased with the Amba hard wired straight towel warmer.

Bought this as a warehouse deal, but even at full price it's a very good buy compared to other hardwired warmers. The polished chrome finish is excellent, and the warmer heats up relatively quickly. A few things to be aware of: As pictured, the electric connection is at the bottom right and the on/off switch is bottom left. Can't swap things around, so you have to install it as pictured (it may be possible to install it upside down if you use a timer or external switch, putting the electric box top left) - so just make sure this works before you buy it. It's "only" 150 watts and 120 volts, which is good because you can hook it into most existing lighting circuits (although you might want/need to GFCI protect it), but don't expect to use this as a bathroom heater. And even though it's fairly low wattage, it does get pretty hot.

Disappointed with this product. It did not warm towels as much as we expected so we returned it. It looks nice and well constructed but slow to warm them sufficiently for us.

This product is great! If you are considering a towel warmer I highly recommend this one, it works perfectly. It's beautiful, modern and it warms up my entire small bathroom without burning the towels. Ever.We purchased ours from Keystone LLC, and those guys are truly great. There was an issue with the product I chose, they emailed me right away, as soon as the issue was discovered and they were on it to make sure I would receive my product within the time frame I needed to receive. Will for sure purchase from them again.

Terrible quality control. Received 4 replacement units, all of them were warped where they would not rest flush to wall. Wall was level. We had to finally rig it by using metal washers to make up the difference on the last unit as I was too aggravated to return and my electrician already made his cuts and wiring for it.Also, the bars heat fine, but they really don't transfer much heat to towels...needs to be on at least 45 minutes prior to get any warmth.Pass on it.

The towel warmer gets very hot. Our white towels are starting to look kind of scorched in the middle where they hang over the top bar. Maybe this one is defective and they will send me a new one. I have had this one for almost a year and it was installed by an electrician. It is a little hard to measure the temp, but it is close to 150 Fahrenheit.
