The 7.5' are a decent set of oars
I bought these for a 12'L 48"W aluminum row boat, as replacement for my old set. Frankly after reading a lot of different reviews I didn't know what to expect but was relived when I received a nice set of oars, (both times). In a hurry I measured my old set and ordered that size but afterwards ordered a set a foot longer and that reviled a notable difference in the oars depending on the size; The 6.5' set had what I consider short length blades and thin shafts. The foot longer 7.5' set had long blades and thick shafts. Both sets have thicker blades than what I'm used to using. While I'm curious which shafts/blades come on a 7' set, the difference has me happy with the 7.5' set. I was a little leary of drilling the thinner shafts for oar locks and rowing with the shorter blades. I have had them out and find they do the job well, appear to have a nice finish and are light weight. The only imperfections will come with the shipping as it is wrapped only in a single strength card board sleeve, but they will be dropped in the boat etc so mine didn't warrant return.

Not impressed.
Thought they were good for the amount of money I spent on them. Till they snapped. They worked great for about the first 5 times I used them then one snapped on me today. Thought they were gonna be better then the 50year old oars that came with my boat but I guess not.

Fine but not great
I will say the best thing about these oars is they're not expensive so if you're looking for something to use but a little worried if you break them they'll break the bank to replace then these will work just fine for you. A few issues I've found thing: 1. They don't have a very wide blade area which does effect how much force it takes to move through the water. It's easier to row but less area means less speed. Plus, depending on how much weight you have in the boat the harder it is to get moving. 2. Also, I've seen other reviews that show this oar snapping near the oar lock and I believe that's possible. I've noticed the oars bending pretty substantially while I'm rowing, especially if I happen to touch the bottom and push off. Overall though it's hard to find an oar this long (8ft) for this price so as long as you're lounging on a calm lake these are good enough. If you're going to be in rough, choppy water go with something else more substantial.

Good oars? Nope.
These are very cheap Chinese made oars. They are most definitely made of Parawood, a cheap alternative to......everything. The blade joints came looking ready to split. The various stickers are that cheap adhesive that leaves the glue behind when removed. They are 4x heavier than the Sawyer oars we have of the same size. And to top it off, the blade shape is a joke.

Not so Nice
I've had a heck of a time finding them locally. They are exactly what I wanted. I Update its been one year since I bought them . I have only used them a few times. Today was one of those times and the handle snapped in half.

Very lightweight
These oars look great, I ordered the 9’ ones so I am hesitant to put too much pressure on them. Use traditional oar locks not the metal clamp on ones as they don’t distribute the force over a large enough area and could break the oar. I would also suggest doing a traditional rope wrap on the oars to increase durability.
