I've been cutting my own hair my whole life, and I've learned that there is only one brand of barber equipment that I can trust, and that brand is WAHL! Every item (including this one) works well, is designed to be durable and will last you many many years if you take care of it. The trimmer is easy to use and is very easy to clean. The one I purchased is corded so I neber have to worry about battery life. The attachments fit perfectly and are easy to use. The adjustment capabilities are phenomenal and well....It does the job. It cuts smoothly every time and takes the hair down low to the skin. Almost razor close....but let's just face reality here....nothing will ever get as close to the skin as a razor will....but nothing else on the market will cut the hair this low like this trimmer will. That was my defining factor....how low it cuts and how clean the lining is....and you get the best of both worlds with this trimmer. I always get the corded versions because I've had the battery run out on me too many times before my hair was done being cut. Thats not acceptable to me....so just get the corded version and learn to adjust your skills to cutting with a cord....you won't be sorry in the long run. Overall I give this trimmer 5 stars and a perfect 10 outta 10 score in my book. And I'm NOT an easy critic. I love it's design and the carbon fiber look is pretty cool. Just got this from Amazon the other day. After years of using a battery trimmer (and shavers) I decided to go with pure electric and I'm glad I did. I had received another brand electric for less money but it got too hot after a few minutes use. This one is different in many ways. First, this is a well-made unit wih a nice, thick cord. The three cutters included are all finely ground and cut well. Also, all the attachments are useful for those who need them but I did find I'd only use some of them as I am fairly bald and won't be cutting much hair. I wouldn't recommend these to cut thick hair but they will do the job for just about everything. My main use of this will be for my mustache, beard, sideburns, eyebrows, and around the ears. This trimmer is reasonably quiet (they all make some noise). Also, it does not get even warm after several minutes use, and it is very easy to hold and lightweight. The 20-piece kit has everything, including a carrying case. The nice thing besides how it works is the fact it has a 5-year warranty. Others have one or two years. Of the dozens of things I've ordered from Amazon, this is already one of my favorites as it is just for me and I plan to use it a few times each week. The attachments can be a little confusing to install until you get the hang of it. It says use a drop or two of oil about every month (the oil is included), but my experience is about once a week...they seem to keep the blades sharper and last longer. You can buy light machine oil (like 3-in-1), mineral oil, or Wahl sells its own clipper oil. I like this and I am so happy I will never have to install and discard batteries again!

Ok so far. Love that it’s corded. Long cord. Appears to be ok. Feels light and a little plasticky. Hope it’s durable! Comes with attachments but a little hard to remove.

I just opened the box and finished using this product for the very first time. Moments ago. I'm not even kidding. I've only ever used cheap, battery-powered trimmers before, I decided to step up to the corded design, and man am I happy. I tried to do my homework when purchasing, but in the end it was still a bit of a guess. I really didn't know what to expect. First impressions: 1) it's an ordinary two-prong plug! That wasn't clear from any descriptions, and other products seemed to have a bulky adapter for a plug, so I was unsure, and then very happy with this result. 2) I like the heft of it. It's the right size. Other popular models seemed to boast of smallness or compactness. I have big hands, and the size and weight feel right. It doesn't feel cheap. 3) It's louder than hell. It just is. That power comes with a price, but frankly I don't give a damn. Honestly, how long does it take you to trim? Deal with it! It just doesn't bother me. 4) The results? It comes with a wide blade--I guess what they call the "t-blade"--attached. The attachments are a little flimsy, but they do their job. I snapped on a guide, and this trimmer made short work of my bushy beard. I'd been waiting to trim until I received it. I went thru it like butter, and in just a few minutes I had a nice even trim with no noticable tugging. The power feels substantial. I don't know why I wasted my time with cordless trimmers for so long. In conclusion, I can't say this is the absolute best trimmer ever, only that I got lucky and made a great purchase that I think I'll be happy with for a long time. It's the first trimmer I've used of any kind of professional quality, but given that quality, as well as the price, I'm comfortable saying that I purchased the best trimmer for me.

This is one of the few productsI wish I could leave a zero star on. The one upside is it won’t knock or cut you. And that is. Because it won’t cut anything, including the hair. I had a wahl hero that my wife exploded in Europe. That’s discontinued now. Best trimmer of all time! This is the worst one I’ve ever owned.

My first impression of this trimmer was "Wow that's noisy!" I've owned many trimmers over the years none as loud as this one. I own a Wahl clipper that's quiet as a mouse so I guess I set my expectations based on that.So, how does it work? It's okay for the money. Definitely a consumer level product and not fit for professional use regardless of the clipper's name. It comes with a veritable mountain of attachments none of which are useful to me. I bought it for dealing with maverick hairs that defy grooming and for this the clipper does the job. The blades are sharp and easy enough to change. The tiny blade set works great for hard to reach spots (ears, nose, ...).All and all I'm satisfied though I nearly always ask this question when reviewing a product "Would I buy this clipper again?" The honest answer is I don't know. I think I'd investigate entry/intermediate level professional trimmers next time. The noise this trimmer makes is off putting to me. It makes the unit sound cheap (it is). The eight foot cord is a bit much. It could easily lose a couple of feet for home use

Bought this to replace an older Philips groomer with a failing rechargeable battery. I've decided I'm tired of non-replaceable batteries that limit an item's effective lifetime to around five years.This feels hefty and solid. The cutters are thick and seem built for the long term, and do a commendable job of removing hair. I don't ask a lot of a beard groomer, so the included selection of spacers and combs is more than adequate for my needs. So far, this seems like a worthy replacement unit.

Fue un regalo de navidad para mi novio, la verdad el envío fue bastante rápido, solo no me gustó que lo enviaron en sobre y no caja y el empaque venía algo dañado pero no pasó a mayores. La verdad funciona muy bien, a pesar de ser delgadita, tiene muy buen motor, tiene un diseño muy cómodo para llevarla de viaje y no es pesada. Tiene bastantes peines, y la cuchilla T hace su trabajo muy bien. Trae su aceitito para lubricar pero es super pequeñito por lo que recomiendo pedir aparte, aquí mismo por Amazón incluso, un aceite para cuchillas. Por el precio, la cantidad de accesorios y peines, es una muy muy buena opción.Eso si, no creemos que jale al cien por ciento para cortar cabello (aunque aún no la hemos probado para eso), nosotros elegimos esta máquina porque nos parece perfecta más para el cuidado de la barba, y patillas.Y ya casi lo olvidaba, no es la máquina más ruidosa del mundo pero tampoco es muy silenciosa, aunque eso no nos molesta en nada.

I bought this product to edge my sons hair and it does a wonderful job. For the price it is worth it. I like the fact that it is cord rather than battery powered. I would highly recommend buying this product of you want to cut hair at home or even professionally. It is a must have!
