I’d have to say, I think these are one of the best orchid pots out there for a decent price. I snag them when the price lowers a little or if these are on a deal for the day. The plastic is thick. The holes are plentiful and I don’t worry about roots sticking out the sides since I can easily pull them out when repotting (unless there are crazy branches in the root). I reuse these and also have other types of plants in them. Chunky aroid mixes work for these although you get a little spills of smaller soil, perlite, etc from the holes on the sides. These have some heft to them compared to other pots with the slit openings. Those tend to also become more opaque with use and age but these wash up well and look great after some time. I do like that they fit well into standard pot sizes too! Other orchid pots are always a hit or miss with slip potting.

I've been looking for true orchid pots so I could repot my orchids & get them out of their pot-bound condition. I did the research & found that most orchids are sold in pots that aren't really healthy for the orchids to thrive. They need air around their roots & good drainage. These pots are sturdy & provide lots of openings for drainage & air circulation & root growth. I only did the repotting a couple weeks ago, so I'll patiently await their progress & hope for future blooms.

Clear plastic inner pots with slots. They work if you have the right pot to put them into. Be sure to measure the pots you have - they need to be at least 6" across.

I needed a container for my orchids when reporting. Drainage holes made this a good choice.

These are sturdy, allow air & light to get to the roots with the openings all around the pot. They also allow for good drainage to keep the roots from rotting. It's also attractive enough that another pot isn't needed which is better for the orchids. I'd definitely buy these again & do recommend them to others.

Like everybody else is saying you have to cut out the holes yourself with scissors. Time consuming but I really needed this particular size to fit into a favorite cache pot for my orchid. Otherwise I would’ve ordered a different one. Overall the plant pot is OK, but you’ll have to do a lot of thin plastic removal from the holes with scissors.
