Alert: Not an induction tawa!
The description of the product was misleading which clearly mentioned "gas/induction tawa". The base of the tawa even looks like as it is induction However, after testing it on an induction stove, it was found that this product is incompatible with induction. Also, the word induction is nowhere mentioned in the original product package. It may be fine with the gas stove. The product arrived in good condition but returned as it doesn't work with induction stove

A strong flat rimless pan that handles well.
My original intention for this pan was for making roti and chapati. It has become my go to for warming tacos and making pancakes....excellent, especially on my ceramic stove. HOWEVER, the manufacturer needs to put heatproof silicone caps over the screws under the pan to prevent scraping of the stovetop finish. The screws anchor the handle to the pan. Great pan nonetheless!
