Farmyard Tales Wind-up Tractor Book (Wind-up Books) Hardcover – 28 Sept. 2007

I have never seen a 5 year old child have so much fun as Daniel did with this. Especially when the tractor dived headlong into the duckpond. two years on and he still plays with the tractor game. Fantastic!

I saw these books in a garden centre before I bought one and they were priced considerably more than Amazon prices but it allowed us to see the concept and they are so lovely. Each double page is a track which your wind up vehicle can travel along. The pages are hard wearing and just add a whole new dimension to sitting down with a book.

Christmas gift - My little boy loves this book. (19months) large heavy book, the wind up tractor travels along each of the pages well, with added stand up characters and scenery.

This book with a little wind up model tractor is fun. There are three tracks for it to drive round! Thee are also a lot of stand up cardboard figures. Try it! Mike Carrick.

I was thinking that I'm buying a product which is new, but instead this book wasn't in foil and it was a bit torn in a corner. Is frustrating as a bought it for a present.

This is a brilliant book with lots of interactions. My grandson loved it.

Very nice book, my 3 year-old son loves it, although it isn't always easy to get the characters to stand properly on the book, and you need to make sure you are on a flat service, so that the tractor won't get stuck, but overall, a very inovative and fascinating book.

I purchased this because I loved the "farmyard tales wind up train book" so much. It's similar, as this book also includes 3 short stories and 3 tracks for the tractor to follow, with an additional 30 stand up play pieces that the other books in the wind up series don't offer. However, the stand up pieces are quite large in scale to the tracks---while this is great for small hands to play with, you can't actually have them set up on the track pages in the empty spaces (as Usborne intended), without the tractor getting stuck on them, or knocking them over. Stick with the "Farmyard Tales Wind Up Train Book"---while there aren't any play pieces, the tracks are much more complex and detailed, and operates smoothly. The stories in the train book also have a little more content.

This book is perfect for any little farmer! My son is obsessed with this book!!! He loves watching the tractor go from page to page!
