Very effective cream for eczema
We have tried a lot of different creams on my son's severe eczema, and this has been the most effective.- It is very hydrating, and one application lasts for many hours- This is much less greasy than ointments like Vaseline. My son definitely prefers the feel of Hydrolatum- It really is fragrance free- The consistency is thicker, more so than something like Vanicream. It does blend into the skin pretty well once you rub it inMy only concern with the product is that it contains methylparaben, which I would prefer not to use on my son. However, the cream gives him enough relief that I'm sticking with it..

I have recommended it frequently for children and adults with dry skin ...
This is magic! As a physician, I have recommended it frequently for children and adults with dry skin and eczema, but never needed to use it until my 6 mo baby developed eczema herself. We cover her in this every night--she loves the massage, and I love what it does for her skin. Fair warning that it does leave her skin a little sticky, which isn't an issue for kids this young, but may become an issue as she grows older. That said, by the time we feel her skin a couple of hours later when we check on her, the stickiness is gone, and there's just soft supple skin left!

Cured my baby's skin problem
My baby had a TERRIBLE skin breakout that seemed to be eczema over every inch of her head and neck and other parts of her body. No matter what I tried it was not getting better and we were looking at having to put he on medication which I wanted to avoid.I found this on a fluke on amazon and ordered it to see if it would work. This stuff is AMAZING. It cleared up my baby's skin within a couple weeks and it has kept her skin perfect and clear since. I apply usually once a day. I also apply it every time I see something starting to appear randomly on her skin and it ALWAYS ALWAYS gets rid of it and prevents anything from flaring.Best stuff I have ever seen and it's safe for baby and anyone. great product
This lotion was recommended by our son's allergist at Children's Hospital in Boston for his eczema. He has food allergies as well and we were warned that lotions containing food allergens (such as oatmeal or shea butter) can cause an allergic reaction through the skin. Hydrolatum is gluten and peanut free as stated on the package and is hypoallergenic. I was impressed by the quantity you receive for the price. We were previously using Aquaphor which is much more expensive. Hydrolatum has worked great. It is creamy and smooth and feels great on the skin. It is heavy enough to moisturize deeply but not so heavy that it is greasy or uncomfortable. We noticed an improvement right away! Very happy with this purchase.

Thank every holy and unholy deity for this product
I recently had the worst eczema flare-up of my life. I used to be on Dupixent for one glorious year before the US healthcare system put a stop to that. So I've had to go through the process of trying out every supposed eczema lotion. And by the way, stay away from most things that list it as "all-natural" because 9/10 times it's strongly scented. I got this product on a whim, and I am so glad I did. I have REALLY BAD eczema and what they don't tell you when you are young is that it moves as you get older. When I was a kid I had eczema on my hands, feet, arms, legs, and sometimes on my face. Now in my 30s it is mostly centered on my face and behind my ears. And it is unbearable. I have begged my doctors and any god to just get rid of the pain and itchiness. I can deal with flakiness, I cannot deal with the constant pain and burning. And then I stumbled upon this product. Now my flare-up has ended so I can't yet give a review on how it works during a flare-up. But so far, this has soothed the mild itchiness I have regularly. I would recommend this product to people who need a strong lotion/ointment to slather on their temperamental skin. however, I do need to point out that it isn't non-greasy. It could be that I am still using too much, but while this looks like a lotion, it applies like an ointment. It leaves you a little sticky. not as bad as petroleum jelly, but it is comparable. I wouldn't recommend applying it and then wearing something nice.

Not my cup of tea
I was encouraged by the reviews since I have eczema and have had good results with Aquaphor, Vaseline and Cetaphil. Reviewers say this "soaks in" and is less greasy than Vaseline/Aquaphor. I would like that so I decided to give this a try. Not so. When I tried applying it to damp skin, it skidded across the surface in a white blob and wouldn't spread out until I dried the skin. It takes a considerable amount of rubbing to get it distributed. The stickiness lasts a long time. I spend about 10-20 minutes doing other things before dressing, to allow it to soak in. No change was noted. I put on my clothes (they stuck to me as I pulled them on---do not use this if your outfit has nice fabric next to the skin). It did keep me moisturized, or at least it kept me feeling like there was a coating on my skin (like plastic insulation?). After using it twice a day for 3 days I was itching so much, all over my body, that I had to double up on antihistamines to sleep. I now have a fresh flare on both legs and my back is also beginning to break out (after 3 months of no symptoms using my old regimen). I felt better after I finally gave up and washed it off in the shower, returning to my cetaphil/Aquaphor/Vaseline.

Love it but sad they don’t sell 1 pound anymore
This was finally the first lotion I could find that helped my dry skin. I went through a pound of this in a month and went back to order more and now they only offer 8 ounces for more than triple the price. Please bring back the pound size for the original price. My skin is dying :(
