I've used loose leaf tea for a long time and wanted an easier way to dispose of the used leaves, having them inside the infuser makes it so easy to pop them into my compost bin. When it first arrived it seemed small, quite a bit smaller than my old teapot. But it's very deceptive as it actually holds more. Lovely quality, pours well with no drips and looks lovely on my kitchen worktop. I'm really pleased with this and would recommend.

Absolutely love this product. Received a few days ago. Delighted with this tea pot. Excellent quality, easy to use and clean. Was initially worried about choosing the colour as this can always be tricky online however the colour was exactly what I was looking for. Have used with teabags and no issues. Pours perfectly. All-round very happy with purchase

I considered slightly fancier teapots, but they were all either too small (one or two cups) or mostly decorative, with no infuser. But this one has turned out to be perfect, even better than expected. It's stylish, sturdy and very functional for loose-leaf tea. The steel infuser is the best I've seen, with tiny holes that make for a perfect brew without letting leaf fragments slip through. Quite a find at this price. The only reason this isn't five stars is that the item is shipped in styrofoam. No doubt, that's to limit breakage in transport, given that it's Japanese made. But I put a premium on producers who show some care for their environmental footprint. And waste aside, it took me twenty minutes to clean up the tiny bits of styrofoam that, with a bit of static charge, cling to absolutely everything they touch. There are lots of sustainable ways this item could have been packaged, and I would have happily paid an extra pound or three for that.

Excellent teapot. Super stylish and cute. The removable tea infuser is very convenient. I have not noticed any adverse effects on the flavour. The only slight problem is that it is a bit difficult to place in the dishwasher in a way that would clean it from inside from both sides. You'll probably need two washes to really make it clean from inside - from outside, it's easy-peasy.

Love the tea pot 1000% but only picky issues is leaves get caught in the filter after its uses. a 1st world issue. Would change it. Know have 2 of these teapots. Wanted to buy another one and it's now doubled the price since 2022 (exactly 1 year). So now feel it's overpriced now. But a great tea pot.

I as other reviewers have said found the lid didn't stay up. I just bend the thumb tab bit up and now it works a treat. Big enough for 2 large mugs.

I was very pleased with the look and finish of this teapot it seemed just what I wanted as it’s just right for 2 until I scalded my hand and foot when the lid dropped shut while poring in the hot water , it seems that you MUST hold the lid open or risk injury . I certainly wouldn’t like my 12 year old granddaughter to make tea with this teapot

Although not as deep a colour as shown, it is very pleasing and still blue rather than grey, as some have commented. It cleans beautifully in the dishwasher but is rather hard to place because of the attached lid.

I searched Amazon's Marketplace pages for a good two hours before I settled on this pot. It was not first choice. My first choice was cheap junk that looked nice. This pot was pricey-er than my $20 budget at over $35. And buying this pot was the best decision I could! Excepting buying ALL the pots and trying them all out then returning the unbroken washouts and eating the cost of the broken junk. Besides that option it was the best choice. The pot is durable, as far as 1/4" thick porcelain can be. And when you are buying a tea pot so your expensive glass brewer never leaves the kitchen counter and end up shattered on the hardwood floor you want a dirty cheap sacrificial surrogate (because you are a financial masochist for manufactured planned Self-destruction and the non-subscription but you have to keep repeat buying it subscription model) or you just enough Quality that it reduces the future quantity of repurchases and therefore is the cheaper option all along. The black glaze is mat, has good roughness so your grip does not slip, and looks nice on a dark wood tray with your shadow colored mugs. The handle is wide and fits well inside my medium male sized hand. The lid is cool. It is hinged, smooth action, and creates a vapor barrier keeping steam in. The spout is the best feature of this pot. And I did not know it was a feature. Get this pot for the spout alone! Well that and it is durable. The spout on my brewer sucks, I think literally. It takes 10s of seconds to pour a cup of tea. This pot's spout takes 1-2 seconds. When you want tea without ceremony, you should have to wait on imposed tea ceremony from your pot. It is a good pot, buy it. I haven't broken my first one yet.

Cool looking. Works as expected. Strainer is fine enough to keep tea leaves out of tea. Great quality.

First, it’s made in Japan. Second, it’s Yellow! 😊 Delivered fast enough, satisfying. I took video when I opened the box to anticipate if I found something bad and needed to return. Yes 🙌, it’s in perfect condition. Only it’s too big than I expected (searching with key word SMALL tea pot), but okay 👌 I keep it. Falling in love 🥰 already. It doesn’t spill when you pour the tea. IT’S SO CUTE! With filter inside, it helps a lot to enjoy my tea. Thanks 😊.

Very pretty, love the inner strainer, color and finish. Holds a lot. A bit expensive especially given the inconsistent reviews but mine seems to be working great so far and lid sits tight.
