I got this as a gift for my friend who is learning to play the cello.Her teacher will show her how to use this cello holder.

With modding, is perfect for price.
There is a screw in the middle of the endpin rest plate. Stupid. Why would you want a screw chewing up your endpin? HOWEVER, if you take the screw out and glue the plate to the plastic puck it works just fine.

I’ve been playing cello for over 30 years and this is the worst rock stop I’ve ever used. It slipped constantly through rehearsal and I ended up using the strap on my purse to keep my instrument in place. Just don’t waste your money.Upon reading the description it says for use on carpet. Any cellist knows you don’t need one on carpet.

Save your money.
It's only job is to not move onthe floor. It moves on the floor. You might as well use a hockey puck. Someone suggested I spit on it to add traction, but I think I'll pass.
