Outstanding phone for cord cutters
I have owned Panasonic cordless phones for decades. They are always my first brand of choice when upgrading my phone system. Recently, I got rid of my landline phones. It would be much cheaper to rely on my cellphone. However, I also wanted the convenience of talking on a handset. The great thing about this cordless phone system is its ability to connect to up to 2 cell phones. Once connected, it works rather well, though there are minor downsides. First, you need to place the Panasonic base unit next to where you will keep your cell phone. Since the connection is Bluetooth, there isn't much distance to play with and both units will need to be close to communicate with each other. You can certainly take your cell phone with you when traveling outside of your home, but once you return, you will need to place it near the Panasonic base unit again where the Bluetooth connection will re-establish itself automatically. There is a setting on the Panasonic phone that puts it in "cellphone only" mode. This gets rid of the constant message that appears on the screen that indicates you are not connected to a landline. Making calls on the handset while connected to your cellphone isn't quite as fluid as I had hoped, but it works well. You need to dial the number you want, press the CELL button beneath the screen, and then there is a brief pause and a few beeps until the phone connects. Cell phone quality is excellent. There is no breakup, no crackling. The only issue I found is that the overall volume level could be a bit better. I had the volume turned all the way up on the handset and thought that it still could have been louder. Then again, I am over 60 years old and my hearing isn't as good as it used to be. Caller ID information is transferred from your cell phone to the Panasonic handset, and a voice will not only announce the caller but also inform you when a text message is being sent to your phone and who is sending it. You can also transfer your entire phonebook from your iPhone to the main handset and it will propagate to all the other handsets in your home. The only issue I had with this was I ended up with 200 phone entries and found the search capabilities on the handset to be lacking. I erased all the entries and ended up manually entering the top 10 contacts I mostly dial. The build quality of these phones is excellent and though Panasonic has a newer model for 2024, I bought these for the DECT 6.0 capability which gives you more range and has better Amazon reviews than the newest cordless system. Anyone looking to save money and drop their landline service should be looking into this phone system. I had considered going VOIP but that requires a monthly subscription. With just your cell phone placed nearby, this entire cordless system will provide you with household phone access with no extra fees outside of your wireless phone plan. It's just short of being the perfect solution, and by that I mean there is a slight inconvenience in not having a dial tone or an immediate dial, but there is only a few seconds of delay to dial outbound. I also think the volume could be better, but it's good enough for these older ears to deal with.

Breaking the cell phone habit, by turning a cell phone back into a phone.
I didn’t buy this phone for the usual reasons. I got it because I was tired of being glued to my cell phone 24/7—checking apps, scrolling endlessly, and constantly feeling the itch to “just look real quick” even while watching TV or reading. I wanted my life back. The Panasonic DECT Link2Cell let me disconnect without being cut off. I paired it with my smartphone, tucked the cell phone away in a cupboard, and now I only get calls and texts through the cordless handset. No social media notifications. No news alerts. No emails. No addictive scroll loops. Just the essentials. And no running to another room to find my cell before I miss a call. The 3 handsets are all over my place and easily accessible. It’s honestly been a game-changer. I can walk around the house, do what I need to do, and still get a call or a message if it’s important—but I’m no longer carrying my phone around like a digital leash. This Panasonic Link2cell gave me back control. Yes, whenI go out I have access to email, news, music, and all the other cell phone nonsense. But when I am home, I have a laptop. Why am I using a small cell phone screen? And why while I'm eating?! The sound quality is good, the range is solid, and I love that I can leave my actual cell phone hidden away and still stay connected in a very intentional way. The phone book works well and it's like using phones in 90s, when you could enjoy life beyond a 6-inch screen. If you’re trying to reduce screen time or break the habit of always having your phone in your hand, this is a surprisingly effective and elegant solution. It returns your life to a cell phone being about communication and not algorithms that force you to stay on it. Your eyes, body, and brain will thank you. I've cut my cell phone screen time by 2/3! in less than a week! I have no desire to check my phone, because I know if a call or text comes through I will get it on my Panasonic.

Best Sitting on Counter
We purchased this phone because I like the looks of this system and it has 5 handsets plus the features of each handset (ring volume, call block and able to pick the sound you want, back lit). When you're in different areas of the home and can't get to the main phone, there's one nearby. For instance, downstairs in our family room and one by bedside being woke up at different hours. Also, if working different shifts and might be sleeping, nice to have one by bed that you can choose to turn handset volume clear down if needed (Nice). I also like a phone with the main unit hanging on the wall in kitchen. This unit said you could hang it as well as listing it as a counter phone, however you might want to check it out before purchasing it. It's made mainly as a counter phone (in my opinion.) Said it can be used as wall unit also but if you want to hang the base it sticks straight out from wall (4.5 inches) and you cannot see the displays on the phone unless you walk over and look at it, not a good idea! We ended up sitting it on our counter which I was trying to avoid. Would rather have it hang on wall out of the way. The phone unit is nice but if you're looking to hang it then you better check it out further because it does not work very well hanging on a wall. The base sticks straight out and not flat against the wall..

Reliable and Clear Phone System
Reliable and Clear — Great for Home Use** The Panasonic Link-2 Cell Bluetooth cordless phone system with answering machine delivers exactly what I was looking for: clear call quality, easy pairing with my mobile phone, and a dependable answering machine feature. Setup was straightforward, and the Bluetooth connection stayed consistent — a nice convenience when using my cell or home line. The handset feels sturdy and the menus are user-friendly. Overall, it’s a well-built phone system that makes managing calls at home simple and hassle-free.

Handset speaker phone sound quality is disappointing.
We have used this landline phone system for over 5 months, now. I often like to use the speaker phone feature. We can say for certain that the Speaker Phone sound quality is disappointing on all the handsets. The dial tone is accompanied with a very distinctive buzzing sound. Voice very often has intermittent noticeable distortion and/or intermittent breaks where a syllable or two gets lost. I used to ask people to repeat themselves, but now I simply tell them I'll put them briefly on hold while I go to another room to pick up a different handset connected to a 12 year old Panasonic Cordless System (KX-TG7875S) whose sound quality is still excellent and which we still have connected to our home landline. We purchased the new system (KX-TGE675B) to have phone extensions in rooms which previously did not have them. Unfortunately, the old system is no longer in production. I assumed that the new system would have the same high quality, but I was wrong. Either Panasonic received and installed a defective batch of speakers from their parts supplier into these new handsets, assuming they were okay, OR the design of the handset circuit boards and/or firmware are the source of the problems; I do not know. After some back and forth, I was able to speak with someone in the Panasonic Warranty Department. That person told me that if I sent in the handsets, the most they would do is send me back different handsets which he could not guarantee would provide a better sounding speaker phone experience. On the other hand, the the Speaker Phone quality on the base unit is excellent; there is no buzzing, distortion, nor intermittent breaks. With respect to the handset Ear Speakers, the sound of the dial tone is much better; there is no buzzing. Unfortunately, voice has some distortion and intermittent breaks, though to a lesser degree than the speaker phones. There is also a problem with the standalone headset charger; it does not hold the handset very securely. Other reviewers have complained about this. The front edge is too short. Apparently, the charger was designed to hold the handset with the microphone fully exposed, See the the four pictures: (1) handset showing location of the microphone; (2) handset seated into the charger; (3) front view of charger without handset; and (4) rear view of changer without handset showing the too short front edge. (By the way, our 12 year old system doesn't have this problem. the handsets sit securely in the chargers.)

Very Disappointed
I’m very disappointed with the Bluetooth functionality of this set. I purchased it specifically so I could use a mobile phone number conveniently in my home. If it worked well, it would be a perfect solution, however it drops calls, and the sound quality is so poor that it is essentially useless. I tried seeking product support from Panasonic before writing this review and found it just sent me in circles and didn’t offer any actual support. I would recommend seeking an alternative to this product.

EXCELENTE
