As a scout leader and a former amateur magician myself, I wanted some ideas for things we can do on campouts and various scouting programs. I was fortunate to see Mr. Kings Las Vegas show 12 years ago and got another of his book autographed at that time. This one has easy and fun activities that are sure to brighten the campfire events.

The book has a wealth of information, and is invaluable for anyone that works with kids around a campfire. The resources cover a wide range of ages for the kids, and a wide range of complexity.

SO,SO. MOST TO THE TRICKS REQUIRE A FAIR AMOUNT OF PREPARATION SO YOU CAN'T JUST PULL OUT A PIECE OF ROPE AND DO A TRICK. I WAS HOPING FOR MORE.

the kids i gave it to are enjoying it, you never know when a spark will catchwell written and easy to understand

I've known of Mac King for many years. He's a pal and a colleague. Any one who has sense and has gone to Las Vegas in the last decade has been held spellbound by his show at Harrah's. So, what a welcome addition to magic literature by the King family ! The illustrations are charming, the concept unique and the magic exceptional. The is an excellent book, purchased to use as a prize for my Cubs - some fantastic ideas to keep them busy :)
