Would purchase again in a heartbeat if you have to parallel park often
This mirror is awesome. It is an upgrade from the OEM mirror I had in my LX Accord. It slightly dims headlights in it at night, works great, but it is kind of a pain to install your first go around. After you know the tools and components needed, the time necessary for install would be cut down by 80%. I still haven't hooked up the temperature gauge either. Finding a place to drill through the firewall to display the temperature doesn't seem worth the hassle. Instead of an error readout, there is just nothing above were the direction is lit up.Things to note, the mirror does allow for you to adjust the gridlines to compensate for cameras that are not centered perfectly at the back of the vehicle. If your camera has gridlines you won't be able to get rid of them though so you will have two sets on your monitor. Also, the compass calibration is easy and simple once you adjust the region you are in. That is all it took to adjust mine. Driving in circles is not necessary from my experience.

Excellent backup monitor and great rear view mirror - except auto dim of screen may work too well
UPDATE (12/2016): Seems I hadn't noticed it until now since I had installed this in my daughter's truck which I rarely drove (and sadly I ignored her comments that it "didn't work a lot of the time" since it worked whenever I checked it---in the DAYLIGHT). However, after moving it to my Jeep I realized that when it is really dark there is NO picture at all. At first I thought it was a wiring issue, but then I realized it is the light sensor. It dims the screen when it gets dark, but way TOO much. It turns it completely OFF. I can easily reproduce this by putting my finger or tape over the light sensor (see pics). Wish there was a way to adjust how MUCH dimming happens.Since I see no other reviews mentioning this problem., I assume mine is defective, but out of warranty now. Maybe I'll tape a small battery operated LED near the sensor so I can get the screen to comes on at night :-( For others, when you get it, be sure they display doesn't completely shut off when it is really dark... I'll have to update my review to 3 stars, although it's great, other than this problem.Picture is great, and adjustable guide lines are a big plus when you can't mount the camera dead center. The included wire cover works great and both compass and thermometer seem accurate. I like having the option of being able to connect two cameras, and being able to activate the camera on-demand as well as automatically when switching to reverse. VisionTech was excellent to deal with when the included remote control (for adjusting the guidelines) didn't work--they sent a working replacement quickly. The mirror itself installed very easily an the instructions were more than adequate. Quality of the mirror seems very good (very slightly dimmer than the original--not noticeable). I paired with the Esky® EC170-11 camera, without guidelines, since the mirror provided adjustable guidelines. Picture is great both night and day. I decided to "hard wire" the camera even though I also purchased a wireless transmitter/receiver since I ended-up not being able to find a connection under the dash for the reverse light and had to run a wire back to the taillight anyway. Will likely use the wireless transmitter for a front-facing 2nd camera for snow plowing. Great purchase, great supplier, highly recommended.

Great backup camera rear view mirror display for the money
Great product for the money! Seems sturdy and well made, it fit perfectly on my 2005 Honda Odyssey read view mirror window mount (i.e. no adapters needed). There is a slight tint to the glass but I like that to absorb headlight glare. The on mirror adjustments are very cool and you can adjust the brightness if the screen looks faded in daylight (was not an issue for me but I did brighten it up a little. There are guidelines on the screen that you can adjust depending on where you mount the backup camera (to ensure that you are aligned properly). The display is shown on the left 1/3 of the backup mirror. You can see through it if needed but seems well placed leaving the other 2/3 of the mirror for clear visual checks while backing up. The distributor was fairly responsive to my emails to provide answers to my questions. To be aware, when you set the compass, you are instructed to drive slowly in a circle. The compass does eventually set but there is no on screen confirmation on the compass itself (I have seen this message in older compass enabled rear view mirrors that I have installed). Also the instructions do not make mention of it but on the wiring harness there is a clearly labeled green wire that you connect to the backup light fuse so the screen goes off when you move your shifter out of reverse.Very happy thus far. I love this mirror
I love this mirror... it's crystal clear and the backup camera works well. But apparently it's not well made. After installation, I was never able to get the compass to orient. Then the display of the temperature and compass started to slide to the left within the housing, to the point, now, where it's impossible to read at any angle other than from the passenger seat. The last straw is the temperature reading, which is now always over 100 F, even on a cold start of the engine in 50 F weather, so I know it's not radiant engine heat.Outside of that, the only annoying caveat is that there's no way to turn on the reverse camera display unless the car is in reverse, no manual switch to turn it on. Small gripe, but I hate having to shift into reverse just to make sure that I've pulled forward far enough.

Works good, but beware of older model with compass problems
The shipping was fast and the camera works great. The compass would not calibrate and after contacting the manufacturer I was sent a newer version for free. The seller was no help and sold us an older model.
