Excellent knife
First off, I have lots of nice knives and I'm not esay to impress but that said, I really like this one. The materials are good, the fit and finish is excellent, the grinding and shaping are excellent. Even the blade is very sharp and centered. The ball bearing pivot is smooth and the lockup is great. Blade and handle shape is subjective but for me they are comfortable and stylish. All in all, this is a very nice knife that stands up to similar made in usa knives.

Good, not great
My first Kizer. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Came sharp, well packaged and seems like great quality overall. The action and clip are somewhat lacking but from what I've heard, Kizer has upped their quality from this earlier offering.

Excellent product !
Everything about this knife is GREAT ! Value, balance, sharpness, quality of materials are all above what you would expect for this price ($89.00) as a Prime member. The only problem I ran into is moving the pocket clip as I am a lefty. The screws that hold the clip are a T6 torx ! Most people would NOT have this bit in their tool box. Luckily my local auto parts store had what I needed and was nice enough to let me borrow it. Really looking forward to years of service out of this beautiful Kizer ! Thanks !

Not your typical "made in China" product
I own 5 Kizer knives and they all have one thing in common ... quality! This particular knife, the Kizer Kesmec Ki4461A1, is now my favorite. The blade is extremely sharp and perfectly centered, it swings open with minimal effort and locks securely with zero play in any direction. There's no doubt that China produces a lot of substandard products and for that reason, people will avoid anything manufactured there but Kizer is an exception. The closest thing I own to this knife is a ZT0550 which should tell you everything you need to know about the quality, fit and finish.

Super outstanding knife!
I have to say, I'm really impressed with Kizer & this Kesmec knife. So much so that I've bought several since it appears they're being discontinued. Each piece has exhibited snappy/smooth action, superb fit & finish & a centered blade w/even grinds. Only 1 wasn't as sharp as the others....which were all hair poppin' sharp. I wish they continued to make these knives but they certainly flew under a lot of radars. Oh well, like they say in Army supply, "I got mine". Good luck getting one for yourself.I highly recommend this knife if you can find it. The purple anodized brother to this model (the K2) is just as sweet if you like a cleaner/less busy look. It's totally worth the money & probably more. One thing I forgot to mention above, both knives feel amazing in the hand. I have large size hands & this thing seems to merge perfectly to my hand providing one of the more secure grips I've ever locked in on (especially considering the handles are Ti….amazing)! In a sea of blades out there, this one was surely a dark horse that should've been pushed harder & tried more. Folks are really gonna miss out.

Top-Quality Knife At A Great Price
I have a few Kizer knives in my collection, and all of them use S35VN blade steel (one of my favorites). This "Survival and Camping" knife - with a smooth flipper opening mechanism and a liner lock - is the meatiest of all of them, while costing $40 - $50 less ($109). This price point is a no-brainer if you're looking for a durable, long-lasting EDC (It was originally selling for $160.00 with an MSRP of $220.00). Most highly recommended!

Great Knife
Great knife from a great company. Super sharp, beautiful, high quality finish, smooth, sturdy, and centered. Titanium and S35VN steel for under $100 is a steel on a full sized knife like this. Only thing is I wish the clip were titanium and the pivot screws weren't swirly.

Worth the money, nice quality feel
Was a little apprehensive about spending this much on a knife. Im well pleased with this one, it has become my favorite. To be a larger style it fits amazingly well in my pocket. I use it for work and the clip is well made. i cant even tell its there. Very smooth action, light weight for the size. I would purchase again
