Garage Door Mailbag for Non-Wood Garage Doors

We bought our house a year ago and the former owner just let the mail land on the garage floor. We didn't even know this type of mail "catcher" was available until we did a search. It is perfect! When you put the garage door up, the mailbag lays flat as the arms are hinged. These pictures are after a year of use and they still look new and do the job. I totally recommend for those that have a mail slot that ends up in your garage or house.

I love this product for it's concept and design. Bought the "wood door" version for my 95-year-old mother-in law so she wouldn't have to bend down while using her walker to get the mail off the garage floor. Worked like a charm and she loved. Order this one for us after wondering why we had run over our mail and let is flop through the mail slot into puddles on our garage floor for so many years. Installation seemed to go fine but once installed I noticed there was a seam in the upper back left corner that was "unraveling." I may have stressed it while installing it, but didn't think I had been that forceful. We'll watch and see how much further separation occurs and my can get out needle and thread. Still like the idea but somewhat disappointed.

This mailbag works very well indeed. I had it installed in the wall to the side of the garage door. It is really roomy and the mail slides right into the bag. Note that as it is in the wall, and probably when in the door as well, it is possible to look in and see the entire inside of the garage. If your car isn't there a prospective burglar may find this useful! I cut a piece of fabric (17"x13") and pinned it along the top. It does not hinder the mail and removes any view of the inside of the garage. One reviewer thought it was a bit overpriced. It would disagree. It is well made, the fabric is tough. In fact, the price could possibly have been higher.

Very simple to install and worked as advertised. Only time can tell, but this product seems to be quite durable.

The garage door mailbag looks very good on my garage door after installation. It does the job well, it can withhold a lot of mail and magazines. The installation options are good, and I had no trouble following the instructions.

It's what we were looking for so that the mail is not sprawled all over the garage floor. The reason for the 4 starts is because the adhesive strips didn't work and had to use gorilla glue to secure it.

Bag works great, but realize when using with a metal door you probably will he to cap the screws on the outside.

The bag is of good quality and so far is sticking very well. The size is ample for all deliveries and even for a period of time one may be away from home. I have lived in this house for approximately 5 years and had delayed making this purchase due to the cost of it. I am very happy I treated myself and had to ask myself why I waited so long!
