Is this black? The description says the nun costume it is a golden satin gown, but the picture is a regular black nun outfit.

Mine was definitely black. I cannot remember what the description said when I got it though.

Is the head piece long?

I'm 5'6" and it hits me at about the bra line in back/elbow length in front. I use safety pins to secure the white head covering to the "dress" part and bobby pins to secure the top to my hair because otherwise the thing is always sliding sideways and looks silly.

How do you attach the head-veil piece so it stays in place?

The veil and headband are attached, and held on the head with elastic in the back. The cowl and hood are all one piece.

I’m a size 14 adult would this fit

This is a square robe that has a 46 inches around the bust area. Measure your chest around and if its under 46 inches. Bingo !!!
