(Set of 3) Microwave Food Storage Tray Containers - 2 Section / Compartment Divided Plates w/ Vented Lid

I decided to purchase these to be used when dishing up dinner plates for my husband who often works late and my active teens who always seem to arrive home just after dinner is put away. I like that I can just dish up these plates, cover with the kid, store in the fridge and they can go straight to the microwave for reheating. Also, if my husband gets home really late and just heads for bed, it is ready for transport for his lunch the next day. I have purchased other containers but with 3 compartments which have worked very well. Sometimes you only need 2 compartments, so I ordered these. These are a bit on the flimsy side and there is not much depth to them so good is smashed down instead of nicely covered when the lid is put on. You cannot put as much food on them as you would a normal dinner plate. I think these would be great for people wanting smaller portions or for younger kids.

... don't forget - 2 minutes on high is the max. Plastics break down under extreme temperatures and are able to be ingested which is unnatural and decidedly bad for you. That's why you should NEVER cook in styrofoam - it's the worst. Read the directions and stay healthy.

I guess that I would rate these plates as light-duty and a little difficult to use. Actually, we don't even use these after purchasing them.

Kind of thought these would be a little bigger and sturdy, but they get the job done.

Definitely NOT leak-proof, and not terribly sturdy. But, if handled and used carefully, they serve the purpose for which I wanted them admirably.

We bought these for a baby but they were bigger than we expected. They were such great quality that we decided to keep them for our personal use. The top secures pretty tight and it is great for transporting lunches to work. I have also microwaved these with the top on with no issues. I would definitely recommend these for someone who is tired of bringing multiple tupperwares to work.
