It takes a lot for me to give an item 5 stars. When I opened up the mailing envelope my first impression was, Wow! I literally said that when I first saw it.I was not expecting it to look as nice and as sturdy as it does. I have bought my fair share (10-15) of covers for our various devices like the Kindle Fire, Fire Hd, IPad, IPod touch, IPad minis, and most have been disappointments or unimpressive. This cover is not one of them. It's beautiful!!I love the way it looks and the way it feels. The inside cover is soft. It has the name of the company on it, but it's very faint and you can barely see it. I had to really try to focus my iPhone camera to capture it in the photo I've attached.It has a sleep and wake function, much like other covers have. I think it may have a magnet to close it because I tried opening up the cover and it seems to pull are gravitate to the kindle. I feel like it'll be safe to put my kindle in my purse. The only thing I wish is that it had a strap. I think I'd feel better if it did, just because I know a strap with hold it closed, but it would definitely take away from the simplicity and the beauty of the cover.I saw a few of the Kandourens and thought this was the most beautiful. Even more beautiful than the Starry Night. I had a hard time choosing between the two, but eventually chose this because it was just so unique and not as common.I really feel like this was worth the cost. My son is looking for a new cover for his iPad mini and I hope this company makes covers for iPads. It's gorgeous!If this review helped you, please consider pressing the helpful button. So pretty! Fits Paperwhite perfectly.**UPDATE** so updating this from 5 to 3 stars. I've had this cover for about a month and a half. It's super pretty and light weight but the edges/corners are already starting to peel and come apart and plastic is chipping. (it hasn't been dropped or anything to cause cracking/chipping) I admit I am an avid reader and carry my Kindle everywhere I go but a cover should last more than 6 weeks even with daily use. I used my last cover almost 2 years before having to replace.

I bought this in September of 2017. I constantly read. I read in bed and fall asleep knowing that it will turn off in a few minutes once I nod off. I travel a lot. I'm not very careful of my Kindle and drop it more often than I like. This cover has gone with me and been dropped all over the world both indoors and outdoors and it has protected my Kindle throughout. I bend the cover back ALL of the time and it has not affected it. It has finally reached retirement age in July 2019, because the magnet came out (although it still works just fine as long as I put the magnet where it belongs manually). I paid $14.99 at the time and most definitely got my money's worth (though today the price is only $12.99).I'm going to buy the same cover with a different picture because after 22 months I want a bit of a change. I'm still going with this brand because I am COMPLETELY satisfied with its performance. If my new cover doesn't live up to its predecessor's standards I'll write another review about it pointing out its shortcomings, otherwise you'll get my next review on it in another 22 months.

Absolutely GORGEOUS case! The colors are so vibrant and I just can't stop staring at it. I love the feel of the case. The inside of the cover is made of a microfiber-type soft material and the outside is very smooth and just feels great in my hands. The fit is perfect where I didn't even need to push the kindle in for it to slide into place. However, once it's in the case it is locked in and will not fall out. The front cover folds back nicely and allows me to comfortably hold my kindle in one hand. The auto sleep/wake also works perfectly. Everything about this case is great and overall I'm really happy with this purchase.

Love the case for my new paperwhite! Ive always admired this piece of artwork. Sturdy feel. It's textured, which i like. Magnet works well. I believe this brand makes cases with different artwork so I may snag another one later. Will provide another update if I find any issues.

In the 2-3 months that I have owned my Kindle Paperwhite, I have already dropped it multiple times and the case has been essential in ensuring no damages to my Kindle. It is very lightweight, love the auto wake and sleep functions. I would recommend this product to everyone with a Kindle Paperwhite.

This is the most beautiful cover I have ever had for any device. The lighthouse screen with the boats and the waves is more beautiful when you are holding it in your hand, just stunning!This protects my Kindle Paperwhite perfectly. No worrying about scratches or dropping as this fits it snug and keeps it secure. I like that the cover wakes it when opening and puts it to sleep when I close it. Very soft fabric like inside the cover so this protects the screen nicely. Once you close the cover it stays closed until you open it. It is very light weight so does not add any extra weight to the device so it is very comfortable to hold while reading. It reminds me of a mini hardcover book. I am glad that not seeing any reviews did not stop me from buying this as I do rely a lot on other people's reviews. I love it!

The artwork is gorgeous, no fault in Van Gogh's print! Outstanding and eye catching. 2 negative feedback about this case though. (1) magnet is quite weak, unlike my previous cover!! (2) Once I insert the kindle into the cover, I was struggling to take it out as there's NO opening, like a gap to even put my finger, on the side at all! With great difficulty, I managed to get the kindle out. Have attached my previous case to let you know what I mean, which was more user-friendly in terms of invention!

There was nothing wrong with my black faux leather case. It had a strong magnet and I liked its understated elegance. This does exactly the same thing (with a slightly weaker magnet), but I love the artwork and the feel of the case... and that's all I can say about it, really. If you like the look of the print on your pc, you'll love it in person.All that remains to be seen is how this hold up to time spent being carried everywhere with me.
