Review: Comfortable and good price. - These shoes fit well with great comfort and cushioning for me. I gained a bunch of weight during Covid and I am a valet. On my feet all day and on the go 6 days a week. I bought several pairs so I could rotate them around and not wear them out as fast. The rain and water felt like they broke down quicker than they should. When they have had enough wear they are uncomfortable and you know to throw them away. Style was fine and multiple colors to choose from. I will by them again since I have lost a lot of my weight now. Some new ones are in order. Review: Very good to my knees. Great price. - I just took my first 1.3 mile walk with these and they are divine. My knees are mildly arthritic, and the old walking shoes were not cushioning nearly enough. These fit perfectly (10 1/2) and really cushion the hard streets and sidewalks I walk on. It just stopped raining when I went out, and when I walked on portions of sidewalk with embedded polished pea gravel, I could detect slight slippage, but other reviews warned me so I expected it, and it wasn't anywhere near dangerous. On regular wet asphalt and wet concrete they have excellent grip. And the price is excellent (unless you want a trendy color, in which case expect to pay 10-30 bucks more, depending on trendiness. I strongly recommend them to people with knees that need extra cushioning. Or anyone who just enjoys a cushy walk.

Buy the right equipment, get the right results
I don't like running but I decided I needed to do something to lose some excess weight. So I bought some dumbbells and started weighted walking with 8lb, 10lb, and 12lb dumbbells. As I progressed, I started adding quick sprints with the dumbbells as a part of my walk; over time, the sprints got longer, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds. I started with Nike walking shoes that resulted in blisters on the back of my heel/ankle area. So I bought some no-name brand shoes from Amazon that were even worse; they resulted in blisters on the bottom of my feet after their second use. So I finally spent the money for shoes that were supposed to be different - and boy are they. As much as I dislike walking/running for exercise, I absolutely love these shoes - and they make it bearable. I've had my Sketchers since mid-April and have completed over 94 miles in them: (11) 5k+ outings and (6) 10k+ outings. My hands (grip) and shoulders actually get exhausted from carrying the dumbbells before my feet get tired/start aching (in fact, within a few minutes of completing my workout, my feet don't even ache). I feel like I could do a half marathon in these shoes (without the dumbbells lol) - and one of these days, I just might :) While everyone's experience will vary, I can honestly say from my own personal experience/use, if you're looking for comfort with no blisters - I can wholeheartedly recommend these Sketchers. (I'm tempted to buy extra pairs in case they stop making them lol)

Very comfy but fatal flaw
I like skechers max cushioning premier but they have a fatal flaw. After about 2-3 months of wearing them the foam loses its structural integrity and then the shoes start making my feet roll outwards because the outside foam flattens out more than the inside foam. My ankles and feet then begin to hurt and its time for a new pair. At 90 bucks a pair, they are too expensive to buy 4 or 5 pairs a year. I have found if I drill holes into the foam on the inside of the shoe I can get another couple months out of them, which is what I do. Shameful thing is after wearing these shoes for only 2 months and the foam dies, they still look brand new. The older max cushioning elites I used to wear did not have that problem nor do the hiking shoes so it has something to do with the thicker soles and changing foam chemistry. If I could get 6 months out of them before they start twisting my ankles, I'd be happy.

If you work retail, you gotta get a pair of these! Updated after 3Mos Use
So these shoes are still amazingly comfortable but I am just super disappointed that after three months they are ripping. I do wear these 5 days a week for 8-9 hours/day but these should not be ripping this easily this soon. If you take a peek at the toe guard you can see the tear and then just slide back about an inch you can see the fabric is starting to separate from the sole. These should be able to handle my environment and work routine. While I'm on my feet for most of the day Im not running around the place. Mostly walking and climbing stairs. Old Review: Wow! Wow! Wow! These are without a doubt the most comfortable work shoes I have ever owned. I'm a heavy guy who works retail and these shoes have been excellent. Absolutely no break-in period. I was comfortable from day one. When you first pull the shoe out of the box it looks huge and heavy but they are still very lite. Materials are extremely soft and wrap around your feet like a sock. The two-inch soles really help with cushioning and are still firm enough to feel confidently supported. Couldn't be happier!!!

Honest pros and cons
First off, I recommend you going to a sketchers store (ideally) or department store and getting a feel for your personal size before purchasing online. Most shoes follow the same measurements. Ok, con: the shoes after 3 or four months of rough wearing (like 8hr - 10hr days) will tear at where the toe bends of the shoe. Nevertheless, they are minor tears, but they will most likely tear. Pros: Comfortable, takes pressure off the front balls of your feet and distributes the body weight evenly. They are lite, very breathable, and or the affordable version of Hokas. The padding last. All in all, it all depends on your needs. Using the shoes for walking around town or going to gym and you drive...they most likely are not going to rip and last for a year +. On the other hand, if you are a nurse or a delivery driver...they will rip. I am in construction, run, and walk in the shoes mon -Friday for 14hr or so...I live in NYC. These shoes last me about 8 to 9 months maybe a year. The have minor rips after 4 months, but I don’t care because they are so dang comfortable and light and I’m on my feet all day doing all kinds of stuff (running, walking, climbing up ladders, drilling, navigating a construction site). I don’t suffer from any fatigue because of how lite these shoes are. The shoes hold up, but they do have little rips in the front. This shouldn’t in my opinion deter a true runner. Sketchers do have different versions of this shoe that are more durable at the same price point so you have other options
