Nice unit, functions well. Recommended, with a fused pigtail for the battery connection.
Really nice little unit. I was able to mount on my bars, and route the cable along with existing cables, to the battery for connection. So far, the unit has functioned flawlessly, allowing me to use my phone, in a separate mount, while charging, seemlessly. The mount and tightening bracket could be made or constructed better, but so far, after several hundred miles, the mount has remained solid and in place. I do check the tightening crew occasionally to be sure. One enhancement suggestion I would make would be to include an inline fused pigtail for connecting to the battery, which I purchased and used with this, from a different vendor.

A really good product
I needed a waterproof phone charger for my bike. I have plenty of sae connectors hooked into the battery. So this one is low profile with a voltage meter readout and accurately reads the resting and running output voltage. Let's me know my battery is strong after 4 years. I like the USB cap. So I made a small slit in it, pushed the small end of my charging cord through it, and I basically have a sealed connection. It has a switch on top too so its not always on. When you put it on the phone begins charging and it's a fast charge.

Installation difficulties.
Update within asterisks: *Slow charging was due to a faulty cable. I still had to ziptie the device to the handle bars...* Plugged this device into the manufacturer installed SAE pigtail (fused), and got a very slow charge on my phone. Mounted it anyway, under the assumption that the low current was due to the motorcycle not running, and had several difficulties. The largest spacer would not close, no spacer would not clamp. I ultimately had to use the smallest spacer and contort the bracket to hold. Started my motorcycle and the charge speed did not improve. At best, this will prolong the life of the battery, but it does not mirror a 2.1A charge speed, at all. Furthermore, as others have mentioned, the unit will not stay mounted. Very disappointing experience.

Updated review
Update: GoldenHawk reached out and took care of the problem. They sent me a replacement item with no trouble at all to replace the one that didnโt work. I know things can be faulty straight from the factory so itโs not their fault. Their customer service was great and took care of me quickly. Dead right out of the box, mounted it, ran the wire all nice and neat, hooked it up and it never came on.

Appears to work and has a nice rubber cover for the USB port.

The bracketed clamp does it hold the device after install
So far I've only installed the clamp on to the handlebars. with the rubber inserts it should fit a range of diameter bars.. However, as soon as you Tighten down the clam it makes it more round intern making the clip for the unit not work. Once you have the clamp secured the device will slide right off it no longer clicks into place. So I wound up zip stripping the device to the clamp and zip stripping the clamp together on my handlebars because the screw that does is in the wrong angle to do anything. This comes with quick disconnect end. It ships with only one end of the connection so if your motorcycle or whatever you're putting this on to does it have the matching end it's useless. I've been to the big three auto stores and I can't find a matching end. So I'm getting ready to go out there and cut the end off so I can solder it into my motorcycle. if you so much better if they gave us both halves of the connection so we can install it easily and still have the quick disconnect.I guess for the price I shouldn't complain too much because I did want to know what state my battery was in and I did want to charger for my phone. But if you're going to put a product out at least make it complete and make sure it works as stated before and after install. So I'll use this one for the rest of the riding season can find another one to install

USB Port Works - Voltmeter Is Innacurate
Easy install, seems well constructed. The USB port looks to put out about 4V and 0.5A, and charging current was consistently supplied to my phone with the bike running and the bike turned off. However, the voltmeter feature is horribly inaccurate. When I first turned it on, it read about 12.4 volts with the bike turned off. I started the bike, and it showed 13.4 volts, 0.07 volts, and multiple readings in between. So while I'm happy to have a USB port on my bike now, the voltmeter feature is useless. Also, the retention of the charger / voltmeter onto the mounting bracket is pretty poor.

Best one on the market!
This is a great USB charger. It has a button to turn it on and off, when nothing is plugged in, it shows the bike's battery voltage, and when a phone is plugged in, it shows the voltage level going to the phone. I really like it.

Garbage
Pretty much garbage. Unit I got had no voltage digital read out. Was just a USB. And after hooking up to battery. Heard a click and poof. It was done. Garbage. Donโt purchase.
