This is a gorgeous piece to add to any home! Real wood and very heavy!

I don’t recommend purchasing this item.Came without instructions, hardware and had parts of the mantel missing, there was no way to possibly assemble it.I contacted the manufacturer directly since it was an option, and they were not helpful whatsoever.They told me to just get a refund from Amazon because the item “is out of season”. I wasn’t aware there was a “season” for electric fireplaces in which you can control the heat.I now have to lug both heavy boxes to UPS to return the item for my refund from Amazon which is also ridiculous.Really not worth the trouble, there are plenty of other options out there and I took my money elsewhere.

The fireplace is loud when on.

My daughter purchased this fireplace/tv stand for me . We love it! It took her about two hours to put it together by herself!! It was packaged perfectly with great instructions . So happy with this item!!

Disclaimer: I have this brand of fire place, not this specific model.I'm currently shopping for a new electrical fire place because my current Muskoka had several wires catch on fire inside the wooden box.The fire place stopped working, so I unscrewed the back panel to check for a fuse. That's when I discovered the wires that caught on fire inside the wooden box.The remote also stopped working properly after a year.Not worth burning down the house, go with another respectable brand.
