Air Chrony MK3 is a shooting chronograph intended for measuring the velocity and kinetic energy of a bullet. The device comes in all metal body with tripod-mounting posibility (1/4 UTF thread), with possibility of Barrel slid usage (aditional) and has been developed especially for air guns and air pistols, including airsoft, paintball, rook rifles, bow, crossbow, nerf guns, etc. All AIR CHRONY models are powered by a 3pcs of 1.5V AAA battery (not included) or via Micro-USB slot (power supply not included). Air Chrony MK3 provides an excellent measurements accuracy, mechanical durability, high resistance to interferences, possibility to measure under bad lighting conditions, selectable menu languages, on-line connection to computer via USB and other modern features, so there is no doubt that MK3 represents a high quality Air Chrony product. The chronograph measures bullet velocity from 6.6 fps (2 m/s) to 6560 fps (2000 m/s), energy in FPE (Joules), average velocity, maximal velocity, lowest velocity, number of shots (counter), velocity deviation (consisteny), cadence (RPS, RPM). Impressed with the quality
This is a well made piece of gear and appears very accurate, however I am still looking for a good way to calibrate it. It's a great size for indoor air rifle, paint ball measurements. Have to tried yet with any fire arms.
