Crunchy Peanut Butter, 1kg

I’ve always enjoyed a good crunchy peanut butter, and Pip & Nut certainly doesn’t disappoint! It has a lovely, rich roasted peanut flavour with plenty of crunchy pieces throughout, giving it a fantastic texture. I particularly like that it’s made with simple, natural ingredients rather than being packed with unnecessary additives. It’s delicious spread on toast, added to porridge or simply enjoyed straight from the spoon! The consistency is great, and although some natural oil separation is to be expected, a quick stir sorts that out. It may cost a little more than some supermarket alternatives, but I think the quality and flavour make it well worth the money. Overall, a fantastic peanut butter with a proper nutty flavour and plenty of crunch. Highly recommended!

I've tried quite a few peanut butters over the years, and this is easily one of the best. If you're looking for something natural without lots of unnecessary ingredients, this is a great choice. The flavour is excellent, with a proper roasted peanut taste, and the crunchy texture is just right. I also like that it doesn't contain added sugar or palm oil, which is becoming harder to find these days. I have it regularly with breakfast, on toast, and sometimes straight from the spoon when I need a quick snack. The quality has always been consistent, and buying the multipack works out good value if you use it regularly. Overall, a simple, natural and great-tasting peanut butter that I keep coming back to.

I bought the 1kg tub because it seemed like good value. Unfortunately, it has also revealed that my idea of a “serving” is wildly different from the one on the label. The consistency is excellent—properly crunchy, easy to spread and made from 100% peanuts without any unnecessary ingredients or palm oil. It tastes fantastic on toast, in porridge or, purely for quality-control purposes, straight from the spoon. Great price, great texture and a generously sized tub that should last ages. It won’t, but it should. Edit: Since leaving this review I have gained 7lbs!

Good peanut butter. Wrong size for me. I made a bit of a mistake with this. I normally buy Pip & Nut crunchy peanut butter in jars, and when I ran out I spotted the 1kg tub. It worked out cheaper than buying six 300g jars, so I thought, why not? A kilo of peanut butter is a kilo of peanut butter, right? Well, not quite. The first problem is simply the size and shape of the tub. A jar fits neatly in the condiments cupboard. This thing is a fairly substantial tub that doesn't really have a convenient home in my kitchen. That's entirely my fault — I chose the 1kg option knowing perfectly well what a kilo looks like. The other issue is the peanut butter itself. Because it's a large tub, the contents have separated quite noticeably. The top was very fluid and it took a lot of stirring to get the oil properly mixed back through the peanut butter. That's not really a criticism of the peanut butter. Pip & Nut is still doing what I like about it: just peanuts and salt, with no unnecessary ingredients. But I'm now wondering how well it will stay mixed over the considerably longer period it's going to take me to get through a kilo. So my verdict is slightly odd: The peanut butter is excellent. The 1kg tub was a poor purchasing decision. If you get through peanut butter at a rate that makes a kilo sensible, go for it. If you're accustomed to keeping a jar in the cupboard and taking a spoonful when you fancy some, the smaller jars are probably a much better fit. I've basically discovered that there is such a thing as too much peanut butter. And I don't particularly like admitting that.

This has become our go-to peanut butter purely because the only purpose we use peanut butter for is for our dogs :) it is palm-oil-free, and that's what I care about. Delicious taste, love especially the crunchy version. Buy this on repeat every few weeks.

Been buying this peanut butter for quite some time as its very nice and reasonably priced. Just about to order again and noticed its gone up £1.50 from last month. I paid £5.95 last month now it's priced at £7.50! Time to find another brand I refused to be ripped off

Tastes nice, but the container I received had settled and about an inch of oil was sitting on top. After 10 minutes stirring, there was still a fair bit of oil sitting on top which I didn't seem able to incorporate.

The product is great, the best peanut butter I've ever had. My only complaint is, the last time I ordered I got the larger size, which is packed in a cardboard container that did not survive the shipping very well. I would recommend ordering the smaller size that is in a plastic jar. I've never had an issue with the smaller one getting destroyed in shipping.

This is a real peanut butter. I am highly recommended this.

Unglaublich lecker, Zutaten nur Erdnüsse und Salz. Wahnsinn. Ich habe lange eine Erdbussbutter ohne Palmöl, gehärtete Fette und Chemie gesucht, und in London ständig Werbung dafür gesehen. Bestellt und Bingo. Perfekt. Super Konsistenz, super Geschmack. Ich schließe mich den anderen an: die Verpackung ist abenteuerlich. Da müsste sich die Firma echt was einfallen lassen. Und ja, das Öl hat sich abgesetzt. Natürlich hat sich das Öl abgesetzt, es sind ja keine Chemie und keine Emulgatoren im Produkt. Einmal mit den Knethaken rein, 2 Minuten gerührt, fertig. Dieses geniale Produkt werde ich wieder bestellen, klare Kaufempfehlung.
