I have been wearing the Nunn Bush Men's Sherman Slip-Resistant Work Shoe Oxford Sneaker for a while now, and I'm genuinely impressed with the level of comfort and quality it provides.Straight out of the box, the first thing that caught my eye was the sleek and professional design. Have bought these shoes several times. They look nice and are comfortable. They give me a steady non-slip position when in an area that has wet floors while looking more professional compared to other non slip type shoes. However, the top part begins to seperate from the sole fairly quickly. I tend to keep shoe goo glue around to remedy it to allow me to keep wearing them longer. They are waterproof, look nice, and are comfortable - if the attachment glue used on the shoes was less prone to breaking down when exposed to water they would be great. I like them, keep buying them as I have yet to find another pair that is comparable, but having to invest in shoe goo glue with them is a bummer.

My husband loves these shoes. Has wide foot and finds these to be a perfect fit. He has several pairs of shoes by Nunn Bush in different styles and loves them all. Highly recommend.

I really do like the shoes. They were a little stiff at first but broke in quickly. The only thing I don't like about them is that there are rubber heal tread inserts. They started peeling away almost immediately. I used shoe glue on them and that will last a bit but after awhile they will start pulling away again.

The man-made uppers are coated with a thin, plastic veneer that easily tears, leaving a tattered surface. See photos. In one photo, I've pulled up a large peel exposing the base layer and demonstrating just how thin the veneer is.This can't be remedied. It's an inherent defect.I work as a waiter in these shoes, so they need to maintain the look of a good dress shoe. I only wore them about 2 weeks before the surface began disintegrating.The shoes otherwise fit well and are very comfortable, but the cheap and easily damaged surface ruins their value as dress shoes.They might work for you if worn in environments where your feet never engage anything harsher than carpeting, but if you need shoes that stand up to stress like genuine leather does -- don't buy these, or anything like them.HINT: These shoes have an unnaturally high and permanent sheen. That's the tip-off for a plastic veneer.A plastic veneer will rip and peel.Upside: You never need to polish these, because polish won't penetrate. Buffing with a shoe brush will usually clean them up; if not, wiping with a damp paper towel followed by a dry cloth will.

wear at work no more slip in my work conditions

My husband really likes the look and fit of the shoe. But after only wearing them to work for 6 months, the soles have started to separate. Quite embarrassing because he was at work when this happened. It hasn't fallen apart yet but it will soon. You would think that from a popular work/dress shoe maker like Nunn Bush that the quality would be better than the no name brand shoes out there. Even though he likes this shoe, we may go with another brand for his next pair. Although he's willing to give another pair of these a shot at redeeming the Nunn Bush name.

I highly recommend these shoes. They are the dress shoe you can take for business and where comfortable for long walks outside of work. I like the wide fit which is very appropriate for me and the water and general weather resistance.

It is very comfortable for daily use, but it does get worn easily (maybe I set my expectations too high for this price range), after about 9 months wearing Monday to Friday, it's getting harder to ignore the sole detaching little by little every day.
