Best on the market
Highly recommendedEasy to install and maintainGreat design overallBought to replace hardwired system 10 years oldInstalled Smoke alarm alongside heat alarm for best results and interconnected them both to sound as both models compatible and have the facility to work together to protect your homeFire Angel is a brilliant brand, well thought out design and wouldn’t purchase anything else

Great replacements, easy to install.
Bought to replace two 11yo wired interlinked alarms that were failing and was easy to install/replace as a differing brand. You DO NOT need to drill a large hole in the ceiling like others have said. Instructions advise you to fit this onto a junction box/baseplate so there's room for the connector. This fit easily onto the existing ones I had (photo attached). The baseplate provided has differing screw holes to allow this. The old units had a different connector block, but was easy to swap out to the new one provided and mirrored the wiring for interlinking.Alarms are very loud! But interlink function worked well as testing one set the other off.Would definitely recommend these, especially as a replacement product.

Smoke alarm
Bought this as my old one has expired and needed replacing. It was reasonably easy to install, I knocked a star off because I'm sure it said that it would fit the connector for the power from the previous one it didn't, which meant I had to cut it off and replace it. Having said that it seems good and pleased with the purchase definitely good value for money.

Just What The Doctor Ordered
Bought 2 of these, both hard wired in to existing cables as my 2 previous alarms needing replacing as they were over 10yrs old, although a different brand I bought these after reading various reviews of this product, very easy to fit, obviously turn the mains off and what I highly recommend is to buy the base plate for these alarms to make life so much easier for you,Amazon don’t sell them but I purchased mine from Screwfix,FireAngel 959CC base plate, these make wiring easier in my opinion and then all you have to do is push and click in this smoke alarm making sure that the connections line up,simple and efficient, highly recommend these alarms and definitely the base plate too

Hardwired smoke detection
We have 9 of these in our house, along with heat detectors in the kitchen. Interlinked, they are obscenely loud when activated, which of course is a good thing. However, I would say that I have to replace one every 18 months or so because, for reasons unknown, they seem to decide to go rogue, repeatedly triggering false alarms. This can sometimes indicate a low battery (even when hardwired, they still have a battery back up), but mostly, changing the back up battery has no effect - that individual alarm has just failed. I've never taken it up with the manufacturer because a) it's always more than 12-months after purchase and b) at approximately £20, it's not a deal-breaker.
