I ended up with cats from neighbor's house because they never fix anyone. So kittens naturally became a part of my yard and land. Some of the mothers were sick, so we opted to take the kittens and raise them in the house where they'd be safe from predators and illness. KMR has saved the day when it comes to getting adequate nutrition into these babies. I've also used it for my older cats when they don't have much appetite. It is an all round great product and super easy to use.

I was really suprised to see that this had been pulled from the website by Amazon due to problems by some customers. I bought 2 12oz containers in Jan 2017 and have been feeding two cats who have health issues, albeit non life threatening. They both love it, no problems eliminating and no vomiting. They meow for it every morning. To them, a treat. It has helped them to put on weight and maintain it. Purchased this in 5# bags, 3 in all (from Amazon) over a year ago for a friend who rescued a litter of 5 when their feral mom abandoned them. All are now healthy active cats, spayed and neutered. None of the problems reported by a few others. Now 18 monrths old, some still like KMR as a treat, some don't. Some don't like cooked chicken or wet cat food either. Go figure. Seems to be just personal preference. In the past, I fed this twice daily mixed with a prescription canned food to a cat who needed a liquid diet. She devoured it for her entire life. No problems from either end. :) I raised several litters of bottle babies on KMR over the past 15 years or so. Never had a problem with vomiting or clumping. Takes a couple of minutes stirring with a fork in lukewarm water to dissolve it. (I use my well water from the tap, I have no experience mixing it with water from a chlorinated public water supply, so can't comment on that.) I keep it in the fridge, since this is a small container. The 5# bags I kept in the freezer, just took a week's supply out at a time and stored that in the fridge. And so I was very disappointed to find that Amazon has pulled it from their website, since my supply is running low. I can special order it from my Vet. Just easier to have it delivered along with my other stuff.

Expensive but worth the $. The goats milk kitten replacer milk is better tho. It's more easily digestible and best for tiny kittens tummy's!

this was bought for the local animal shelter for the foster moms to feed newborn feral kittens. nice size containers, shipped fast, good price. They had it on their wish list. a wish list is a good thing. spay and neuter your pet's people. stop the cycle of too many animals in the shelters across the U.S.A.

We had found a very sick kitten outside who was still nursing and very young who was in danger of losing her eye and worse. The Pet AG is what the emergency vet gave us to hold us over after treatment and she drank it up with no diarrhea or ill effects. We tried one other brand of KMR and it made our kitten sick with diarrhea. Pet AG has a great formula that’s easy to reconstitute. It’s a 2 to 1 ratio meaning 2 parts water to one part powdered formula for example 2 tablespoons of water (30ml) to 1 tablespoon of formula powder (15ml) or any quantity/volume you’d like to make like 2 teaspoons (10ml) to 1 teaspoon (5ml) etc. We used either a fork or small battery powdered milk frother to mix in. The milk frother worked best to get a nice smooth consistency without lumps/clumps but you can’t over do it or too much air will incorporate and give the kittens colic. Best to use it and let it rest to let any air bubbles rise and give it a quick stir with a fork since it tend to settle quickly. Once reconstituted, the milk is refrigerator stable for 24 hours so don’t make more than you need or you’ll be throwing a bunch out. Once the powder container is open it should also remain in the refrigerator to preserve freshness and stability.It also comes in ready to use liquid formula you can warm up slightly. My kitty liked about 100-105 degrees Fahrenheit for her temp but don’t go too warm. Wrist test the formula like baby formula or scan it with a temp gun. They’ll outgrow this and move on to PetAG 2nd Step that you can slowly incorporate kitten pate into until they wean off completely. Even our older cats loved this and would clean up her left overs in the milk bowl once she was old enough to wean off the syringe and nipples. This formula saved our now adopted kitten and I can’t sing its praises enough. Accept no substitutions on the Pet AG KMR!

I like to keep a can on hand during kitten season. It can be hard to find locally sometimes. Ideal for hand rearing orphans.

ThankGod for the ultimate life saver for just born kittens and weak kittens. I hv tried beapher ,Samolac, ventri . My kittens died and only Kmr saved with just the first one small feed the diarrhea stopped and my kitten instantly was relieved, the next day she started to gain energy. I know its expensive and the delivery takes ages. But trust me no washing of diarrhea or sad fading kitten with KMR& petlac Formula. Their KMR and Petlac formulas are relief to us and the only saver I'm certain of for just born to 6 weeks kittens.In the 7th week if the kitten starts chewing biting you can introduce little by little dry food soaked in hot water softening it, let them cool down to room temp , you can then feed. I recommend this product and warning you beforehand to buy tins 6 days in advance. For a 3&4 week single kitten the tin comes only for 7 days maximum. Incase you can't afford more you can buy atleast once to save its life for a week or 10 days and see how it revives and then decide to buy further or not or find an alternative which might suit them. But this is the best kitten formula I've seen with many kittens I've raised without mom cat.

Colostrum for new born kittens, as a cat breeder we keep this in stock before a litter is born just in case we have to supplement their feeding, this product is of the highest quality, and safeguards your kittens health should they not be able to get colostrum rich milk from mum in the early days, it has a nice milky smell to it and they love the taste, apart from mixing with water to make it liquid (easy, no lumps), you can sprinkle it onto food later, and mum can share it with them.

I always use kmr for my pregnant cats and new born kitten i keep using it until they reach 6 months
