Friday the 13th Original Soundtrack

This is a great CD. I love the music, especially the end theme. However, I was terribly disappointed when I played Sail Away Tiny Sparrow. That was one of the songs I was looking forward to on this CD. Something is very wrong with it. The tempo is the same. The music is the same. It's the exact same song you hear twice in the movie. BUT, the voices are pitched far too low, making this female singer sound almost like a man. You can tell it's the same recording, just for some reason they changed the pitch of the voices. Really ruined the song. It's a shame. The rest of the CD is terrific.

Believe me if your a fan of Friday the 13 th you should get this soundtrack i mean it was released a couple of years ago with the first 6 scores. But la la land records made a limited edition of the first score on cd for the fans who don't have the original score. But believe me this score is awesome a horror fan can't miss it. So get a copy before their all gone.

This score from the 1980 horror film, is a classic score. It has never sounded better. Clear. Sharp and powerful. They did a great job on this soundtrack.

One of the most impressive things about Harry Manfredini's music is that despite the fact he is using the same basic instrumentation (strings, brass, etc.) as most orchestral film composers his overall sound is so distinctive. Erstmal muss ich sagen, dass der Soundtrack auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne verdient hat (Wo bei man auf den SONG verzichten könnte)! Und man auch für seltene Raritäten gerne tiefer in die Tasche greift.Nur legt wohlmöglich AMAZON wenig Wert darauf (zu mindestens nach meinen Erfahrungen was Audio - CD betrifft), Empfindlichere Wahren sicherer zu verstauen, damit sie ihr Ziel unbeschadet überstehen können!Musste leider zum Ärger feststellen, dass zwei Einrisse auf der vorderen ausenhülle der CD nach dem auspacken zu finden waren! Das war bis jetzt keine Ausnahme!Deshalb 2 Sterne Abzug.
