Lovett Golf Sand Wedge

I bought this sand wedge on the recommendation from a fellow golfer who has one and loves it. This club definitely cuts through sand and grass. Easy to make good contact with the ball. The only warning I would put out there is that the head is heavier than a normal sand wedge so it produces more distance out of the bunker and from the green-side grass. Be careful. It takes some getting used to, but once you do, I think you will really appreciate what it can do for your short game.

The sand wedge should say Tour Standard or Tour Lob on the club. The one I received was the pitching or gap wedge and it had Tour Gap on the club. All are good clubs but the loft degrees are different as would be expected. Not all sellers are the same but currently you can only by the gap club here and it is was being advertized as a tour standard sand wedge. They have, as of today, removed the "tour standard" from the description but still need to change the main heading to "The Lovett Wedge" and add "Tour Gap", if that is what hey are selling, so you will know what club you will be buying.NOTE:Tour Standard is 59 degree loft, Tour Lob is 63 degrees, and Tour Gap 52 degreesMSRP: $99.98 in steel, $119.97 in graphite. So this is a good deal if you are looking for a pitching or gap wedge.I have given this item a 1 start because the description is misleading and you have no way of knowing what you are buying. Once the description is changed I will change my review.I have returned my item and will wait to review the seller once that process is completed.

It has improved my sand trap shots 100%

The Lovett wedge preformed as I had hoped. Chipping threw thick rough was consistent. Glad I got it.
