Cost effective replacement for orig filter

These filters are easy to swap out, just remember to turn off the water line first. They also come with a sticker sheet of dates so you can mark install/replace dates on the filter. (don't give the stickers to your 3 year old, they are hard to get off the table)

I ordered this under sink water filter believing it would fit as a 3US-AF01. This is the first time I ordered this filter as a replacement. We have had this under sink filter system for many years and the same person has replaced the filter every six months with no problem until I bought this filter. When he attempted to this filter on put it suddenly blow up. It did not fit probably. He attempted to put the second one on since we bought two, but we were concerned that it was not fitting properly so I called a plumber to close off the line until I got one that will work properly. I would like a refund for what I spent for these filters. The plumber agreed that it did not fit properly.

Hands down just as good as the pricier Filtrete ones!

The filter system i bought only takes the basic filter cartridges, but this product gets rid of 99% of the chlorine and pharmaceuticals and fits my system. so the specs are like the advanced filter system but costs only slightly more than the basic 3m cartridges.
