Not quite what I was expecting, the book is extremely basic. It is really a book of descriptions for everyday items in the HVAC field. Would be an ideal book for students or maintenance techs.

Excellent pocket tool for a new technician. I just tuck them in my meter pouch for easy reference in the field.

Product seems like a cheap imitation of the answerman guides, but I could be wrong. Pages are poorly cut and printed, actual product is not the same as the product photo. The other guides that I bought 5 years ago look exactly like the product photo and are alot better quality.

I rarely need to use this booklet, but when I ever need to refer to basics that slip my mind; this booklet is a savior.

This chart is very handy, it gives you an order in which to begin checking the system, and to avoid overlooking the obvious. Thanks a bunch!

Trust me on this. It's not a trouble shooting guide at all. Your text books have better information in them. It just explains things like what a relay or switch is. If you need to know that it might be useful. Good for a guy who knows nothing about hvac or electrical at all.
