Worked for my Hawkins Futura 5L pressure cooker. Replacing the valve was tough, but it worked and that is all that counts.

It’s perfect !!
I was so happy to have found this pressure cooker part on amazon!! Somehow it came loose and fell off somewhere from the lid of my one year old futura cooker , I thought I would have to discard it but my husband found this safety valve here and now the pressure is as good as new!!

Always keep an extra
When I ordered my pressure cooker, & decided to order a new Safety Valve at the same time. Good thing I did. The cooker ran out of water while my husband was making potatoes. The Safety Valve did it's job.

Damaged to soon…
I have used this new wasser in my pressure cooker but it didnt lasted long. After 2 weeks it was damaged. I feel like my money was wasted on it.
