Assi, Sweet Potato Noodles 1.5 Pound, Jabchae, 24 Ounce, 1.5 pound (pack of 1)

Couldn’t find my normal bland of sweet potato noodles in the store so I took a chance ordering these. I was able to follow the instructions on the package and didn’t have any issues with them being over or undercooked. They were very tasty in my japchae, but also good on their own. I think this brand has longer noodles, but they are easy to cut to the size you need. I will definitely purchase them again.

These noodles taste delicious! But Amazon is selling it at a much higher your price than the Asian supermarkets. I bought two packs of these noodles on Amazon, and when I went to the Asian store near me, I looked around and found the same noodles. Guess what? They were much cheaper than what Amazon sold. Unfortunately I couldn’t return it because of the no return policy on food. I gave four stars not because of the taste, but because of the price.

I honestly have no idea why I originally ordered these! I think a blogger mentioned sweet potato noodles as one of their recommended backpacking foods or something like that. They sat in our pantry for a while before my husband decided to throw them into a stir fry for a change. The texture took a little getting used to, but we really ended up enjoying them! We've repurchased them since. I have a lot of food sensitivities, so we tend to eat similar meals just cooked in different ways. These noodles give us a nice change of pace while still staying within my dietary guidelines. Highly recommend if you're looking for something different!

I discovered these delightful noodles about six months ago, and I will never be without them in my life ever again! I've been Paleo for years, and there was NOTHING in the world I missed more than PASTA! I have found this particular brand to be excellent, although I have tried others. I like the quantity in this pack. 1 1/2 pounds in three separate packs within the main pack. I usually make 1/2 a pack at a time, so I get six potions that I use for several things. Cook them for 12-15 minutes and drain well in cool water. They are not sticky at all, and take on the flavor of whatever sauce you put on them. These are BOMB! I use them is soups, and I make "macaroni and cheese" (Paleo-style) with them and my life is complete. I cannot recommend these enough!!!!

We used these in a meal prep for a Spicy Thai Chicken noodle dish. These Sweet Potato Noodles or (Glass Noodles) were the perfect substitute for traditional pasta noodles. Once cooked they held up extremely well being eaten over the course of 7 days in a cold meal prep setting. The reason I and others refer to these noodles as Glass Noodles is because they become translucent like glass once they are cooked. They do not have an after taste and you would never know these were made of sweet potatoes unless you purchased them or were told they were. Will definitely buy these again once we use all of what we purchased.
