Lateral trainer Review: Don’t buy! Has a max 60 second pause. Program will shut down if inactive greater than 60 minutes. - I own the Octane Fitness XTOne stand elliptical for home use. Great machine except that you cannot pause the machine for more than 60 seconds. This is really bad if you’re doing cross circuit, or have to rest, or go to bathroom. If you pause more than 60 seconds, the program shuts down, and you have to start the program all over again. I have a Life Fitness machine, and it can pause up to 100 minutes. I’ve called and complained about this to Octane Fitness, over the years. In the beginning, they told me they were going to increase the pause time in future software updates. However, this never happened. Since the company has merged with True Fitness, now they’re telling me they are not going to increase the pause time. This, in my opinion makes this machine worthless, Do not buy! Review: Excellent unit - I have used this Octane Lateral elliptical at a well known fitness gym. This machine is a favorite and I often would wait around for it to be free. All your bang for your buck. This makes a lateral side to side motion, there is another elliptical that has a front to back motion, I hated that one it was pretty rough on my knees I don’t recommend that one but this one is Awesome.

Excellent unit
I have used this Octane Lateral elliptical at a well known fitness gym. This machine is a favorite and I often would wait around for it to be free. All your bang for your buck.
