Cage Mat / Foot Pad for Bunny Rabbits and Other Small Animals. Made in the USA.

I use this in my bunny's litterbox on top of kiln-dried pine pellets and put the hay on top! It keeps the bunny's feet dry and clean and stopped any digging in the litter. I do line it with a plastic liner bag for litterboxes and I put down a layer of paper towels then top it with pine pellet litter. Make for easy in changing the litterbox!

It was easy to trim and fit in the hoods dome litter box. I use a wire organizer grate and zip ties to have an elevated platform to keep rabbits fur and paw clean.

Great device to protect my rabbits hocks from the wire crates.

A little hard to install, it is hard to get all 4 holding feet into the cage bottom.

The cage mats fit perfectly in 1/2" x 1" flooring, and the pattern is well aligned to allow matter to fall through.

The plastic top or the mat was smooth and would have been less irritating than a wire cage floor, but the openings were too big for my small rabbit's feet. Her feet slipped through too easily and I was afraid she would get a foot stuck while I was away and injure break a leg or toe. I returned these

Up until I got these mats, my bunny refused to sleep on anything else. In fact, he kept sleeping in his potty litter because it was the most comfortable for him. I was getting kind of worried because how is he going to be litter trained if he thought his litter tray was his bed? However, when I placed these mats in his cage, he actually got off the litter tray and has since started using it as his bed! The product is great but I gave it 4 stars because I thought that it was completely overpriced.

It was hard to trim down it wasn’t the right size, otherwise great product.
