Ducks Unlimited Men's Wool Blend Wader Socks, Tan, Large

I wasn’t sure a wool blend with a DU logo would end up working on a cold duck hunt. They did. With wader feet in the water on 20 degree day, they did great. I’m 6’4” and the socks go all the way to my knees.

Warm, perfect for my old knees. Goes up pretty high so they work as intended and are made well. Also made in the USA, which is a define plus. I ended up buying three more!

Wore these on an 8 mile hike with 20+ river crossings and could not believe how clutch these really were. Overgrown trail? Got some mud? Need to kneel but have bad knees? Need to fill that large shoe with some comfort for your feet? Well....these are exactly what you need. The ability to wear shorts for cooling and yet still protect your legs while forging through brush and rivers made these socks a must have for any serious hike. Dork factor is large but hitting the trail like a boss will show just how amazing these really are.

These are wader socks so they come up just over the knee, man are they warm and comfortable. The price is a great value at the time of this review. These are made by Carolina Hosiery Mills, they also make an over the calf version of these that aren't as tall. These are thick and warm, not as dense as Darn Tough mountaineering socks, which are also great, but Darn Tough socks fit like compression socks on large calves. Be forewarned, these will be like leggings for men if you have thin legs.12/1/20 I own 6 pair of these now, they are fabulous, warm socks. They seem to get even better with washing. I don't baby these things either, standard wash, dry on high.2/15/22 Now own 8 pair of these great socks and it's hard to tell the difference between the pair I ordered last month and the socks I ordered in 2020.
