Great read
Liked almost everything, except the game! It was much to confusing to follow. Also seemed like the end was rushed not fleshed out as much as it could have been.

School of Necessary Magic
#6 Strange is Her Life is a fine story, shorter than most of the series... only one tale is left in this series... however, the creation of this series is part of a much GREATER Collection following Michael Anderle -- the Unbelievable Mr Brownstone; I Fear No Evil; Rewriting Justice; and, the Leira Chronicles... I have completed all of these series, as of this date... I know there are at least three tales left to tell... BUT, I will be very disappointed, at the moment these genius writers decide to quit telling these stories... I understand that subjects flow, and topics fade, and storytellers get tired of telling one thread... that still won't satisfy my hunger... however, once this point arrives, I will throw one heck of a Wake for the friends I have enjoyed for this short period of time.

Love these stories
Ok I suck at writing reviews because I don’t want to give the story away, but I love these authors and the worlds they create for us. This is a great YA story, but at over 40 I still found it entertaining. The characters are great and I always want more. There is a teensy bit of swearing, but seriously if you think your young person hasn’t heard those words, well I’ve got a bridge to sell you. It certainly doesn’t detract from the story.

What a Ride!
Allison returns to school for her junior year reuniting with her friends and the rollercoaster starts. Izzy struggles with her magic as the dark families keep striking at the school from the shadows, Esteil arrives adding more questions to the mix. The group struggles with a tragedy but draws closer together. Allison comes into her power and Izzy finally gets answers in a huge battle. So much happens it's hard to not drop spoilers. Take my word for it this book is excellent but be warned you will stay up way too late reading!

Way to Good!
This book is wonderful! It was very interesting and absolutely exciting! Allison really comes into her own in this book! Allison's and Izzie's friendship was already close but it really came to a wonderful fruition this time! They protected their school together, alongside all the other students and staff! It was a great battle! It was also a story about a close and loving friendship and in the end it made me cry. Good tears but tears none the less. All in all, best book in this series, yet!

Another awesome book!
Another awesome book in The School of Necessary Magic series. I can't wait until Saturday when the next one goes on can pricing! Michael, quit referring to yourself as an old man! I turned 50 this year, and while I am disabled and can't sit, stand, or walk for long, I still feel like I'm 25. Without today's slang, of course. I just plain refuse to buy into that! Keep churning out the awesome stories guys!

Dark Magic Attacks
Dark magic is infiltrating the academy and attacking students. The faculty cannot track the source. Everyone is tense and frustrated. Alison is desperate to help but no one can find a clue to the threat. Izzie begins to see hazy memories of her missing past while struggling to control her wild magic. Alison and Izzie step up when the dark families launch an assault on the school. An excellent chapter in this awesome series.

That was AWESOME!
So Alison’s Drow bad-assery has made its appearance! and what a resounding message has been sent to the dark world. And such intriguing information from Estelle! Brownstone and Shay would be so proud! So glad that Izzie has also become her true self and that now she can hone her own light magic with the help of family no longer lost! Allllllriiiiight! Always a fan!

In awe
I totally did not see that coming! Michael still has the ability to surprise us. This book is darker than the previous ones, but it is excellent. The gang are growing up and are able to rise to the challenge. I cannot wait for the next book.

A real page turner and what an ending !!! Good to see certain students come into their own. A few eye openers and a couple of 'never saw that coming' moments. Next book please.
