I have had trouble sleeping for majority of my life - staying asleep mainly as I have been diagnosed with anxiety. I also do workout quite often and after researching the ingredients, I noticed this also helps with muscle recovery, in addition to better sleep and being in a more calm and relaxing state. I have been prescribed pharmaceuticals for anxiety and depression in the past and have stopped years ago while trying to find natural supplements. This product, in addition to Trio Nutrition's Mood Joy which I recently purchased, has been near life-changing for me. I am sleeping more soundly through the night, I feel rejuvenated upon waking up, and my time at the gym has been more intense as I have more energy. I can attribute all of this to Trio Nutrition's Magnesium Glycinate Capsules. I provided pictures of the bottle, sealed upon arrival, and I also provided a picture of the capsule itself for size comparison with a quarter. This pill is easy to swallow and I had no aftertaste. I've been using this magnesium supplement for about a month. I really like it. I use it because I'm prone to tight muscles, I'm likely deficient (everyone probably is), and it helps me sleep better. Previously I had been buying Pure brand supplement Pure takes 3 larger pills to get (close to) your 100% daily magnesium and also uses magnesium glycinate. This brand is 2 smaller pills BUT is an unknown percentage of magnesium glycinate and magnesium oxide. Glycinate is listed before oxide so it must have a slightly larger percentage. Apparently the different forms are better suited for various conditions. Glycinate for relaxing/sleep. Oxide for higher concentrations of magnesium in smaller forms but is not absorbed by the body as well. I noticed an immediate difference when I started this brand. It helps me relax/sleep more at night. Initially it almost felt like it made me a bit drowsy but that has worn off over the past month. I assumed it was because it was 400mg of magnesium at bedtime vs the 240mg of Pure that I took at night. I could only do 240mg of Pure or it would cause loose stools. I do not have that problem with this brand maybe because of the mix of magnesium types? Either way, more magnesium in smaller pills is better.

I ordered these for the purpose described. The first night I took one & felt nothing. The next night I took 2 three hours before my bedtime. Bad decision. Within 45 minutes I was ready for bed. These surely did work for relaxing my body & preparing it for bed. My sleep quality last night was very good. Unfortunately it’s 12:30pm the next day & I’m still out of it. I can’t wake up from taking these pills. Taking 2 was too much for me. Taking one did nothing. I ordered these impulsively without consulting with my Doctor. I wish I hadn’t. My caution, based on my personal experience, is to consult with your Doctor before taking. Every body is different & the amount of Magnesium in these pills may be too much for some people. Sorry to say I’m staying away from these. I hope this helps in deciding to purchase. Again these aren’t bad but take with caution.

I was very excited to give this a try! It is a simple small pill with no funny pill taste. The packaging recommends taking 2, but I am a small human being and just took one. That worked perfectly fine. With the current state if the world and wedding planning, I have been stressed out and have had some trouble sleeping. Since taking this, I have been able to relax and sleep much better. This is what I was expecting. I often experience leg and muscle cramps that wake me up at night. Since taking this, my leg and muscle cramps have ceased! I did not expect this! This has been one of my favorite parts of the product! If you're someone who is looking to relax or help with muscle cramps, this would be perfect. Highly recommend!

I have been using this for over 3 years. I struggle to keep some of my vitamins and mineral counts up where they belong. However, my magnesium ‘scores’ have been consistently good with this supplement. It’s a quality product at a reasonable price. It has all three of the magnesium types my doctor wants me to supplement. One is for sleep. Don’t remember what the other two are for. I hope it’s not to help with memory loss because that clearly isn’t working. In summary: Quality product at a good price. I have it set to deliver via Subscribe & Save so it’s even less expensive that way.

So far I’ve been having a very positive and seemingly beneficial experience with the Magnesium Complex Supplement. The shipping turnaround time was very quick and accurate, received it the next day. As for the pills themselves, they are smooth and not too large at all making them easy to go down. I have been taking the recommended dosage at night an hour before bed since January 22 2020. I have noticed better quality sleep throughout the entire night as well as fewer headaches during the week! Seems to absorb well and isn’t rough on my stomach like others I`ve tried in the past. I would rate it a 5 for now and definitely consider adding to my daily supplements!

I seldom write reviews but I find that it necessary to share with my Amazon cohorts, how effective this product has been for me. I have tried other Magnesium supplements with mixed results as many did not provide the benefits as extolled or were difficult to take due to the size and texture of the pill or its after taste. I also experienced queasiness and an upset stomach with some of the other Magnesium supplements that I have tried, but none with this product as they must have proprietary formulation. I have taken this product for about a month and have experienced a noticeable difference in my sleep and restfulness which has given me more energy and vigor. Additionally, I use to experience occasional muscle cramps while jogging and in the last month that I have taken this supplement, I did not have a single cramping incident. I cannot say enough great things about this product from Trio Nutrition as I look forward to trying other products from this company.

Love the easy to swallow pill size unlike many other brands.
