My First Book of Sign Language Paperback – January 1, 2004

Love this book! We homeschool and are learning ASL and this has a lot of helpful useful words to start out! And the pictures are cute and colorful! I will note that I always find googling someone physically doing the motion for a word to learn it is easier to understand then looking at a picture IMO. That being said the book helps keep my babes engaged and interested in learning more words!

The pictures are clear and easy to read. Just enough so they won't get bored. Going over book with my grands, one has trouble communicating.

This has been great. There are not too many picture or words for my son to lose attention, but enough that he gets that there are words with letters/signs. Also, they are age appropriate. The letters don't include words that would never be used by a modern kid like some books do. I also love the helpful signs at the back of the book for every day use.

good book. bought for my 4 year old. she likes it too. abc are taught on each page with a couple of words with each letter. a few pages in back are for useful signs like please and thank you. a few signs are unclear to me as to the exact way to do them because the hands just have wiggley lines instead of arrows like most of them. overall good beginner book for young child.

I liked the illustrations and the use of every letter in the alphabet

The illustrations are fantastic, some of the best I’ve seen in a children’s book. I bought it for my godson but my sons liked it so much they wanted to keep it for themselves so I might have to buy another copy or two to make everybody happy!

great deal. fast delivery. cute book. my 2 yr old grandson is partially autistic. therapist recommended sign language to help him communicate while learning to talk . very age appropriate
