Excellent slimline heater
I've been looking for a discreet slimline heater with decent output for our small conservatory (around 12-13 sqm). This heater looks great, is easy to install and works very well. The only tricky things is setting up the timer. If you search on Youtube there are several vids showing how to set it up - much easier than going throught the user manual.

Looks better than a central heating radiator
I bought the 1200 watt model to replace a radiator I have removed. My living room/dining area measures approx 4meters by 8 and there is a central heating radiator in the dining area. My first impression of this Adax heater upon opening the packaging is that it is less deep than it appears in any of the pictures so pay attention to the dimensions. The instructions are basic and not very helpful although the cardboard template to mark the mounting holes is. My main gripe is the quality (or lack of it) of the metal mounting brackets, if they were any thinner, they could be descibed as tin foil. Also one of them on mine refuses to lock into the case of the heater and keeps popping out despite the brackets being located on the wall with nasa prescion. The power lead is far to short and I will have to replace it or use an extension lead. Ive not tried to programme it because I have anger management issues. As for performance; When I plugged it in, the room was 16 degrees C and no other heating was on, I set it at 22 degrees C and after one hour the room was about 19.5 degrees at both ends surprisingly. I had it plugged in to a power meter and after one hour it had consumed 1.27 KwH so that equates to about 33p based on my tarrif (I think) it looks good but I dont think there is anything particularly clever about it. There are cleverer ceramic heaters on the market but for me, this one looks the best. You get the customary smell of burning paint when you first use it but that clears after about half an hour. Time will tell how good it is or isnt when we eventually get some freezing weather, I have'nt yet disposed of my old radiator just in case.

Gives out plenty of heat.
Looks great, we bought the grey finish. Easy to install and I'm no expert. I was surprised to find no screw or plugs for the fitting. Luckily I had my own.Gives out plenty of heat. We've not used the timer yet, but have no reason to doubt it'll work well.We use ours in a 9 x 15' ( insulated roofed) conservatory. the one 1200watt radiator is all we need.Definitely recommended it.

Simple to install. Straightforward setup. Looks very nice.
The previous reviews suggested this might be a little tricky to setup, but with a little patience we found it quite easy. Its 7day programme (P1) is comprehensive to setup, and after 2 days of cold mornings, here in the UK, it has performed well to heat our 3by3 metre bedroom.Provides good uniform heat across the front panel and heat from the top. Loving the dimmed display and the ability to easily adjust the heat on the fly.The only way to improve this would be to add wifi access or Alexa support.

Very stylish; easy to mount. Does put out heat. Not user-friendly. Programming nightmare.
Wanted a low level heater to warm up a very cold north wall in our bedroom. Heat mainly needed at night. This is very much the Boris Bus of the heating world. It looks very stylish indeed, and does indeeed provide heat, when you can get it to switch on. It was also well packaged and easy to install, using the box cleverly as a template. However ........ like the buses, it's very expensive, and the rest of the offering just doesn't work very well. The programming is managed through six buttons on the right of the unit, and a two character 7 segment LED display on the top right front face. For a start, this display is at ankle level with the heater mounted on the wall, so the only way to read it, and hence progamme the unit, is to lie on your belly, or take the unit off the wall again. As the unit clock only has a backup for 24 hours, you will probably need to be doing this a lot. The programming "manual" supplied with the unit is incomprehensible. Forget it and go to the Adax-Solaire website and download the guide there. This is at least understandable. However, the programming mode is back to the 1980's. You have a choice of two pre-programmed selections or "user-programmed". If you want to user-select, then every single hour of the day has to be programmed to one of two thermostat settings you specify, using the buttons on the side of the unit. Bear in mind that you will be doing this lying or kneeling on the floor trying to read the display. It's horrendous. To add to the inconvenience, the unit comes with an electrical lead short enough that it can only be plugged in to a socket on the right of the unit. Fine if that's where your plug is.I think they have a unit with a remote control, which may be better. At the moment, it's not high on our list of "best-buys we have made."As I say - as an attractive piece of kit it cannot be faulted; as a practical and easy-to-use device, it has a lot of shortcomings.

Panel Heater.
Very easy to fit, looks stylish on wall. Programming is very difficult so just switched it off, and use manual control instead works fine on this setting. Generally very pleased with heater heats up very quickly and does not use a lot of electricity.
