Perfect for encouraging healthy growth on plants and flowers, the precision blades on Fiskars Micro-Tip Pruning Snips are ideal for shaping, repetitive trimming and intricate snips. Precise, Micro-Tip blades cut all the way to the tip for clean, healthy cuts in tight spaces, while fully hardened, stainless steel blades with a precision-ground edge stay sharp – even through heavy use. Awarded the Arthritis Foundation’s Ease of Use Commendation, these snips also feature an Easy Action spring that gently opens the blades after every cut to help reduce hand fatigue derived from repetitive cuts – especially helpful for gardeners with arthritis or limited hand strength. Additionally, comfortable handles feature Softgrip touchpoints for enhanced comfort and control, while an easy-open lock and blade cover protects blades for safe transport and storage. Review: I would give these 10 stars if I could! - These are one of the most useful and amazing items I've ever purchased. Among other interests I'm an avid seamstress and crocheter, both of which require the use of scissors of some kind. When it comes to cutting fabric, I rely on my Ginghers (which are heavenly), but for the smaller things -- like snipping thread and clipping yarn ends -- these little snippers are nothing short of fabulous. Not only are they extremely lightweight and easy to handle, but the extremely narrow fine-tip "pruning" point gives me unbelievable control when it's really needed -- like clipping a loose thread from a garment, clipping the yarn end as close as possible after weaving it in, and my personal favorite: cutting felt and flannel with scientific-like precision! I once bought a Betty Lukens bible flannel board set with over 600 little pieces that had to be hand cut out of the flannel they were printed on. If you can picture teeny tiny little hands with even teeny tinier little fingers on many of the people characters, you can imagine what an imposing task this could have been. But with these amazing little snippers and their teeny tiny little amazingly sharp tips, I was able to cut out each and every piece with absolute precision. Quite frankly, I was utterly amazed. Since then I've found more uses for these than I ever dreamed, although I still use them primarily with my sewing and crocheting. Do I love them? Well, let me put it this way: this is the FIFTH pair that I've purchased. I got tired of moving the same pair from here to there depending on my needs so I decided to buy a pair and keep one in each place that I normally would need it. And at the price desertcart offers these for, it was a no brainer. Oh, and you may have noticed I haven't mentioned their pruning capabilities, but that's only because I am not a gardener, sad to say--just never had any luck in that department--but I can only imagine that they probably work beautifully in that regard as well. One last thing to mention: these snippers are made with a sliding orange button that locks the blades closed when not in use -- and I highly recommend taking advantage of it. One of the main reasons these work so beautifully is because the blades are incredibly -- and I do mean incredibly -- sharp. Please be careful! And of course it goes without saying to keep them out of the reach of little ones. That said, should you decide to purchase these, I can't imagine any scenario where you won't be completely happy and satisfied with your purchase. Hope this helps! Review: Well Made, Great Value, Perfect for Deadheading Flowers - These pruners are a fantastic value for the price. I have a pretty extensive terrace garden, and these pruners are perfect for everything from deadheading faded flowers to snipping stems and overeager morning glory vines. The pruners hold up very well, and they have a surprising degree of cutting power given their relatively small size. After two growing seasons of heavy use, they're functioning as well as they did the first time I used them. The edges have retained their sharp, hard quality. ✔ PROS - Excellent power-to-size ratio - Quality handle allows for a good grip even when your hands get sweaty - Perfect for everyday deadheading of flowers and trimming small branches - Well-made product that holds up well with frequent use - Good value ✔ CONS - These pruners won't be able to cut through thickets stems and branches (which of course they aren't intended to) ✔ TIPS - After using the pruners, wipe off the blades with a damp cloth and let them dry for a few minutes before you slip the cover back over the blade. That will help the blades stay sharp and last longer.

Love These Snippers!!!
I purchased these little snippers because we have several container plants in both the front and back of the house and I was tired of never having the tool I need in both places. I purchased these based on the reviews at Amazon. I have to say that these are wonderful! They are a nice size and fit quite well in my hand. I can (and have) snipped with as little as my index finger and thumb - that's how easy they cut. They're very sharp and there's a handy orange slide gizmo in the center that allows you to easily lock or unlock the snip. Simply squeeze them together and slide the orange gizmo to keep them locked in the closed position. When you're ready to start using them again, simply slide the orange gizmo the other way and they pop open. They also come with a small, orange, soft plastic cover that goes over the tips. I usually take this piece off and leave it inside and then put it back on after I'm done snipping and rinsing the tool. I use these little snippers to "dead head" my container plants to encourage new blooms. I have owned them for about a month or two now and I would highly recommend them. They are top quality and you can't beat the price.

Casi casi cortan solas!!!

Snipers that work like a dream. The tip is indeed micro, and very sharp, which means precise and clean cuts. Easy to dip sanitize, comfortable grip, locking closure, and a cap to protect the blades when not in use. Dealing with customs was a little iffy but they got here!
