Good looking fire
I want to start by saying that this is a great looking fire and gives off a lot of heat. The downside is it burns through propane like crazy! I bought a 20' extension and put the propane tank in a storage box I have for patio covers etc. so it hides it very well. We use the fire two to three times per week and about 3-4 hours a night. With the cold weather we are running it on full most of that time and go through about 30lbs of propane in that time period. I would suggest going with NG if you can as it's going to cost you a fortune to run over winter otherwise.

Perfect for a Corner
We wanted a compact/no fuss flame in an enclosed patio area. It was installed on the diagonal and a rock surround added. The design was good, easy to assemble and transferred to natural gas easily.

Great on Natural Gas but not so good for propane users
First, let me say this thing would be TERRIBLE with a propane tank - don't even think of going that way. Where would you put the tank? So if you want propane keep looking - this is not the unit for you.We have a small balcony and natural gas. We needed a very narrow unit to save space so this one fit the bill. There's a natural gas conversion kit and it's fairly easy to install. The instructions say not to adjust the air shutter but tech support says for natural gas you need to make sure the shutter is half open - which makes the flame much nicer. The burner seems very well built as does the metal base. Ok, it's probably made in China so don't expect cast iron but it's solid enough. It looks great. The flame is nice and bright, especially at night. As with all natural gas items, it's not as bright as propane and it's more blue than I'd like but that's not a fault of the unit. The main complaint is the thing is very hard to light and frequently flames out. After many calls to tech and lots of reading and playing around I have found the issue. There is a bit of a design flaw in this unit. The flame is strongest in the middle and weakest on each end. Unfortunately the thermopile (which measures the heat) sits in a weak area of the flame so it's already primed to shut down. The unit produces a bit of a convection current on my small balcony. Any wind tends to blow the flame away from the brass thermopile which then cools just a bit. The unit thinks the flame has gone out so it shuts off the gas as a safety measure and it's flame out for real. If you hear a click then the flame goes out that's your thermopile shutting things down. The solution was two part. First, buy the expensive $400 wind guard from Napolean. I know. Crazy price. It should have been included with the unit in the first place. It's a bit low but it still cuts the wind problem in half and it does look great. It may be all you need to solve the issue.Still not fixed? Look at the way the wind mainly blows based on your set-up. You will probably find the flames lean mainly in one direction due to convection currents. If that direction happens to be away from the brass thermopile then that's your issue. If you can rotate the unit 180 degrees you are all set. My gas outlet and balcony seating wouldn't easily allow that so I went another route. First I pulled out all the nice broken glass from the burner (what a pain that was) and stored it. Next I carefully removed the thermopile and the ceramic igniter from the bottom side of the burner. 4 screws hold them in place. While I had it out I adjusted the thermopile nuts (2 of them) to push the brass thermopile as far out into the flame as possible. I bent the holder to bring the thermopile a bit lower too but that may not be needed. When I put it back together I just switched the side the thermopile was on by rotating the unit and screwing it back on. That way the thermopile is on the side where the flames tend to blow the most. That switch kept the thermopile nice and hot and stopped the unit from shutting down. Worked for me anyway.Minus 1 star for the design flaw on the burner. Minus another star for the price of the wind guard and not including it with the unit. It's clearly needed to operate in even the smallest amount of wind.Otherwise I love this thing and it's working well for me FINALLY.

Poor quality and arrived damaged.
Arrived damaged. Frame is of poor quality and look is cheap in my opinion. There were bags of glass in the packaging as well that had opened up and were everywhere. I would not recommend this.

Nice looking fire table
Had an issue with the shipping, as one bag of decorative glass split open and was leaking out of the box. Thankfully Purolator handled the situation well and allowed me to inspect the box at their depot instead of simply rejecting it as damaged. Otherwise the product is well made and the fire looks great. I did purchase the wind shield glass separately, this is really required if you have any sort of breeze occurring.

Leger défaut
Nous avons dû retourner le premier car il était lourdement endommagé. Le deuxième reçu est mieux mais comporte tout de même des légères imperfections …. Nous allons le garder mais cela me déçoit énormément

Very pleasant
It looks great. The first order was very quickly replaced because it had a dent. My only concern is that it looks like the expensive wind shield will be required.
