Value for the money

A good purchase - lacks a decent video card
The main strength of this PC is the excellent processor, and the USB3s for fast data transfer, they work well. It worked well straight out of the box and comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard. It didn't have too much extra software to deal with. It came with Norton anti-virus and trial version of office which I replaced. The integrated graphics card probably isn't good enough if you like high end gaming and would probably need to be upgraded.The 1tb hard drive was partitioned into two 500gb drives. There is a spare SATA port inside the machine (it has three in total, 1 for the HDD and one for the DVD drive). There is a spare RAM slot if you want to double the 8GB to 16. The DVD drive is in a slightly awkward place to add extra internal drives into it.

Acer tower
Had my last Acer computer for nearly 10 years with no problems, only got rid because Microsoft are withdrawing support for windows 7 next February, let's hope this new one lasts as long, but with it being Acer it probably will .

Fast, powerful computer.
Excellent desktop computer. Very powerful. Not yet convinced about Windows 10. It doesn't seem as user friendly but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I'm not a fan of the vertical CD/DVD player. Very fiddly to insert the disc. I'll probably stick with my external CD writer. Otherwise, a very good computer.
