Hampton Products International V333BL Black Screen & Storm Door Pushbutton Latches

My parents back door latch broke after many years of service. I replaced it first with a cheap black latch/handle that had a plastic button/plunger that kept sticking no matter how I trimmed the plunger. Then I replace that with another one with a plastic button/plunger thinking the the first one was simply defective. NOPE. They were both cheap garbage. Don't buy one with a plastic button because they don't work well. They stick, and eventually break. The second one lasting TWO whole weeks. However, THIS one is all metal and works great, and should last a long time.

I was replacing a broken one, and I had to drill for the bottom screw. But, this one covers the old hole, they were very close. Maybe just the difference between brands? Everything else just fit right on and worked. Cheaper than anyplace else. It's been in use about a month now. Seems to be holding up with the kids pretty well.

The lock on my storm door broke, so I ordered this set to replace it. I was happy to find that the interior latch was almost identical to the broken one. I just had to shorten the small metal bar. I didn't have to replace the exterior handle, so it will be set aside for another day.

Perfect replacement for an older, unbadged, worn out handle. Wasnt able to confirm any level of brand information on my existing door, as most homes [in my case, condo] are built with the door, so took a flyer and bought by the photos alone. Lined up well, reused the longer bolts, as the included ones were a touch shorter, but regardless, worked solid, 10 minute install.

No directions were needed was very simple straight forward product which is what I like! Well made and price was right I rushed to write a review!

I used the old pins for correct length on the install. The lock refused to work so I used a small washer on each screw and it gave enough space fir the lock to function. Think it is a small design flaw but it is working and that’s what matters

Replacement for “vintage” storm door handle- our door is pre-1974 (it came with the house). This handle will work, with some minor editing! The top and bottom holes worked perfectly, but the original middle hole was a little too high. I dropped it down with a drill and everything worked wonderfully! The handle completely covers the larger holes and no one will ever know. You will end up using the much longer screws since the new posts are shorter than the original ones. I couldn’t break the new metal strip so I just used the old one in the new handle. The metal piece it latches onto will most likely have to be moved down.

Great product, especially for the price. It comes with everything you might need for install. Would definitely buy again if I need one.
