5-stars because it's Lagwagon
It's great to have new music from Lagwagon. It's serious music in every sense of the word: Joey has penned some thoughtful, hard-hitting lyrics. Expect gut punches, not feel-good party anthems. The songwriting & musicianship of Hang shine brightest when you drop this on the hi-fi, and listen straight through the LP on the big boxes. Those hoping for stand-out, earworm, anthems like Violins, Know It All, or Alien 8, however, will be disappointed: there are no songs on this new album that will make my all-time top-10 list of best Lagwagon tracks. For that, I'd rate the album 4.5 stars against my 5-star expectations, but I'm rounding up to 5 for the Amazon rating because 22 years after dropping Angry Days, the Wagon still has enough fire in their bellies to keep blessing us with new tunes.

For being away for a while, this album hit the mark for being Lagwagon! I love this band. Seen them numerous times and they always deliver!!

Lagwagon & R.K.L. = "HANG"...
This doesn't sound like the Lagwagon I remember from when I was a kid... it sounds better. Growing up in S.B. I had 2 favorite bands: R.K.L and Lagwagon, "HANG" has the surviving members from both.

Fantastic album
Fantastic album from one of my long-time favorite bands. Usually new albums from bands with lots of material I already know are tough to get into, but 'Hang' seemed to hit me right away as one that I'll listen to a lot. I especially like "The Cog in the Machine" and "Obsolete Absolute".
