Nekteck 60W USB Type C Wall Charger with Power Delivery, Supply Adapter with Foldable Plug Compatible with MacBook Pro/Air 2018, Dell Xps, Matebook, ipad Pro,iPhone 11 Pro Max, Galaxy, Pixel and More

I now have numerous devices that have USB-C charging, but the wattage requirements are all different so the iPad Pro charger won't charge my MacBook, but the MacBook charger will charge the iPad Pro, etc. I got tired of carrying multiple chargers with me and sometimes accidentally grabbing the wrong one. This Nekteck charger has enough wattage to charge any of my devices and it's USB IF certified so I don't have to worry about it frying my stuff. It's also great because I bought the Anker 7-port USB-C hub that has pass-through charging, but it requires a power source that has at least 60 watts because the hub takes 30 watts to power it and then passthrough charging for my MacBook is 30 watts. There are a lot of usb-c chargers out there but very few that are USB IF certified, which I believe is the highest standard for compatibility and safety.

I bought this charger to power a Cable Matters USB C Multiport Adapter https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0746NKVBN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The adapter/docking station can push up to 60w thru the USB-C port to charge, so this charger is the perfect size for it.I hooked the adapter/docking station to a Huawei Kepler MateBook D 14" laptop https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G7GSM29/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with two monitors hooked up thru the two DisplayPort connections and a Logitech Unifying receiver on one of the USB ports. Hooked the charger to the adapter/docking station and everything worked great. Monitors and USB worked without issue and the laptop charged without a problem. Hooking the charger directly to the laptop also works flawlessly.Haven't had it long enough to comment on durability, but it doesn't heat up much and the build quality seems really good. The included USB-C cable also seems to be high quality.

I have only had this charger for a couple of weeks, but it has performed as advertised so far. It is a particularly good option if you are using a USB-C hub that caps the power delivery at 60W. The comparable Nekteck charger with a 65W capacity was $10 more than this one and slightly larger in size. I wish it came with some type of cable wrap for storage but I used a third-party velcro strap for this purpose.

It’s been about 2 weeks I have ordered (2) for my kids’ chromebooks. With remote learning, I needed a good charger that could charge while on. I am not certain about the charging speed, as I have not had a moment to measure it. However, their chromebooks are never fully dead anymore. What’s great is that if the cord gets messed up, it can be replaced, and not committed to the port, esp since the adapter itself is what truly matters for charging capacity + power. A usb-C alone,With a basic box won’t do the job—or at least not right or fully. I’m sure it’ll do the same for their Nintendo Switch!

It's big, it's heavy, it seems to be very solid, like a brick!It charges at full speed on PD, as advertised, but seems to have some type of sleep mode when not connected to an output for a few hours. It will take up to 20 seconds after connecting to my phone /PC, for it to start charging. And this is ONLY after its been asleep. I've never seen that behaviour before in a charger, but perhaps it's a sleep mode designed to save power when not in use, or designed to keep its circuits cold...I'm not really sure, but it certainly does what it's supposed to

It provides plenty enough power for my soldering iron, it heats up to 350C with in four seconds or less, it also makes a really good phone charger.

I used it to give extra power to a 13 in 1 USB-C hub. I was not getting quite enough power from the type -C connector plug on my laptop. so I put some extra juice to the hub and now all the usb peripherals work when loads are plugged into them. The wall plug folds into slots in the side to make travel packing easier

I had a little trouble finding an affordable, decent-quality wall charger to charge the 14" C940. Despite the OEM charger being 65W, this 60W charger is (a) detected reliably by the laptop and (b) charges it quickly. It also charges a powerbank at full charge. It's compact enough and the plug's folding mechanism seems reliable, so this is a 5 star product all around.

I really wanted to like this USB-C PD 61w Power Supply. It is very handy since it has a 61w Power Delivery (PD) and 12w for the USB Type-A. Of course if you connect a phone to the USB Type-A connection, you'll share the entire 61w. That been said, the PD portion of the Power Supply (USB-C) died after 5 weeks of daily usage. I was using this power supply with my new Dell 7400 2-in1 computer. At first, I was scared that it was the computer but it was not. I also tried changing the USB-C cable and problem remain (no power). I connected the original 65w power supply from Dell and it works flawlessly.I was past the 30 days to return it so I sent an email to Nekteck support. They responded very fast (thanks for that). In fact, we have exchanged 3 emails within 3 hours so I consider this very efficient :-)Nekteck support just sent me another email with the information that they are going to ship me a new replacement unit within 2 to 5 business days .(still waiting for instructions on when/where to return the defective unit).That migh have been a defective unit but so far, support has been quick and fast to answer and return my emails. I just hope I have a better second unit! I will update this review after using the replacement power supply for few months.----------------------------UPDATE: 3 days after writing the initial review (updated from 2 to 4 stars)Maybe I was unlocky with one defective Power Supply, but wow and wow again for the customer service!!! Technical support was responding my emails within an hour all the times. Therefore, I have to give them a 5 starts for customer service (THANKS!). As for the unit, the new one works well. Let's see how long it will last.I will update this review after a couple of months juste to give a feedback of how reliable the power supply is.

The media could not be loaded.  Received the unit today and was initially impressed with the sturdiness and how much more compact it was than I had anticipated but soon realized that the unit was damaged and possibly used. The plastic around the port was already heavily discolored, and there were fingerprints all over. Also the port was loose and would wobble around when a cable is connected to it. Planning to return the unit and cannot recommend it.
