These shoes are mildly disappointing b/c the glide on the wheel is not good. My 7 yo athletic daughter really has to exert a lot of energy to get the wheels going. In theory she should be able to step, step glide and go a few feet....reality is she needs to take off on a multi step jog and push herself pretty hard to glide and then she only goes about 2 feet on wheels. I guess one could say it’s a good training shoe but that’s not what I was buying. She still loves them...but it’s not what we wanted. The video was day one and the best she could get it to glide. It’s slow motion and actually looks better than it was...by end of week the glide was worse.

The shoes light up very brightly, they fit great and my daughter is extremely happy with them! The wheels on the rear come in and out as expected, the ones on the front can be removed with a plastic piece that fits over the opening. They are quickly removed and replaced. The company is great to work with and goes out of their way to provide excellent customer service. My daughter lost one of the wheels while trick or treating and they replaced at no cost! Thanks!!!

My daughter loves these. That said, I advise all parents to lay down this one simple rule - no wearing of these skate shoes while alone. My daughter fell and smacked her head the other day. Huge goose egg!She would sleep with these shoes on, however. She loves them so much. They light up as well as having the option to walk or skate. As she careens through the halls of our house, down sidewalks, and through stores, all I can think of is, "Please don't damage your brain!"Seriously though, these are the best Christmas present we have ever given to her.

I ordered these for my son's birthday. He tried them out and loved them. Then he went to charge them and one of the charging ports was broken and he could not charge. So we contacted Amazon and they directed us to return them. In the meantime, I bought him another pair so he would get them right away. The new pair has the same light cord with a button to turn on lights; however they only stay on while you are pushing the button! yeah, that makes sense. Also, absolutely no charging port on these. What is the point of the cord!!?? Now he can't turn on the lights while he skates. And today I see that they changed the description to say that the shoes cannot be charged. Arrgh. I'm not happy. My son is so disappointed.

My daughter loves these, but the first time she wore them they started coming apart at the seam, and within two weeks the button to turn the lights on broke completely off one shoe - they put it by the tongue of the shoe and gets in the way of putting the shoes on. The other side didn’t break off, but now, five months later, only the green lights work.Oh yeah...the wheels wouldn’t stay up when we needed them to, they would slide back down after 5 minutes of walking.* update *Wonderful company that is working with me, I will update more soon.

These are ok, they did the job. My son wanted to try them out and he did. The shoe quality is a little cheap, and the skate is a little hard to put back into the bottom of the shoe. But over all it was good for what I paid. The shoe itself isn’t very comfortable and one of the wheels didn’t move as smooth as the other. But like I said, for a 6 year old boy who just wanted to see what they were like, this was a good purchase for the price.

These shoes are awesome but they do not fit true to size, at least not US sizing. I bought a size 6 for my daughter and they were way too big and fit me instead perfectly, and I wear adult size 8 to 8.5! I had to reorder her a pair in a size 4 which is two sizes smaller than her actual shoe size and those ones do fit her. She loves them now that they fit, but just make sure if you live in the USA to order a size or 2 smaller than what is advertised.

Be sure to measure the child's feet first and order a size or two up. The shoes are really cute, it's nice that the wheels retract! Very cool! Seller very responsive to any and all correspondence.

they arrived a full week earlier than even the earliest date provided by the seller. They arrived only 1 day after my grandson's birthday and he loves them. I like the way the wheels can be easily hidden and exposed when needed.

Shoes are great except like other reviews say- only one shoe lit up initially and now neither of them light up after only 10 min after recieveing. You woukd think they would correct this error after so many reviews stating this issue.Other then the light failure, they are ok- we will see how they hold up after a few uses.

Disappointed... the flashlights does stay on and it doesn’t have a chargeable slot and and a cable

Gift for my niece she loves them. I had to buy two more pairs for her sister and brother.
