Cold Mountain Belt - Genuine Leather Belt with Certified Nickel Free Bottle Opener Buckle

Roughly, 3 years ago I bought the Nickel Free Roan Mountain Belt from Nickel Smart. It is by far my favorite belt, so I decided to try out a couple of their other belts (I’m leaving a review on that page as well). I got my hands this Nickel Free Cold Mountain Black Belt.I have to say that I am not disappointed at all with this belt. I really like this belt, and I think it may become a favorite. When you hold it you can tell that it is really high quality leather. I like the matte finish look to the belt, so it doesn’t feel overly dressy. Definitely wearing this with jeans and short with no problems. The leather feels a little thick and stiff right now, but it isn’t a problem at all because it is uncomfortable. I also know that as time goes on and the more I use it… it will be perfect – soft and beautiful.I honestly haven’t tried out the bottle opener in belt buckle right now – so I can’t leave a review on how easy it is to use.I haven’t gotten any irritation form this belt buckle at all, after all there is no nickel in it. I did note that the belt is stitched just below the buckle (I’ve included a picture), and it didn’t have pins to hold the buckle in place. I later discovered that most of those pins (pretty much all of them) are made from metals with nickel, and that was what was creating the irritation (I won’t go into the gory details on that). I find it nice to know that Nickel Smart has gone at great lengths to eliminate all nickel in their belts for those of us with sensitive skin.The other thing to take notice is that the company has a lifetime guarantee on this belt. With something that is made this well, I doubt you will need it. This is really one solid belt.

Firstly, the rash is gone. A must for my husband’s belts. The leather is solid and clearly built to last. The USA made was a HUGE plus = TRUST. It was worth the extra few dollars clearly. This is real leather, really nickel free and of good quality.

Always get rashes from nickel belt buckles. This was the best price I found for a nickel free belt. Very sturdy. Runs a bit small but I think it's common practice to order two sizes up for a belt. Just wish the black one didn't cost so much more but I can live with brown.

I got CM Brown. It's a little darker than I thought it would be - almost back - but I love it. Feels really nice and soft. I'm not experienced to actually know if it's genuine. Smells nice. Seems to depress with fingernail pressure as leather should. Looks great with dark jeans. Can probably pass at work.

I actually found this belt by accident while searching for nickle free earrings for my daughters. I stumbled across a website that explained how nickle is also found in many other products, such as belt buckles and even the leather that many belts are made from. My husband had been getting these terrible rashes on his stomach for quite some time. I always figured that his clothing or fabric softener was irritating him. Come to find out, it was his leather belt! He loved this gift when he received it, and he no longer gets the rashes on his stomach. It's also a very high quality belt (which he noticed and mentioned when he received it) :)

This belt is beautiful. The size, which I measured from their instructions, is perfect and the leather and buckle are beautiful, however, I’ve had it less than a month and the silver buckle is either tarnishing or chipping showing a gold undertone, which is disappointing.

My husband has super sensitive skin and most belts give him a rash on his stomach. Sounds weird but true. This has been perfect. I didn’t even know this was a thing, but he hasn’t had any issues since getting this belt. And it looks great, too

my husband told me he needed a size 40 belt, so thats what i got him. however, he can only tighten it to the 1st hole. not sure if that was our error or not (hence the 4 stars instead of the full 5). otherwise, it appears to be nice and sturdy and does what its supposed to do.

Nice to wear a belt with a buckle again.
